Bed cuddles [WIP]

Included the original file, wips, thumbnails and the timelapse.For this piece I tried applying a grisaille pass (a pass where everything is black and white), I noticed it wasn't giving me the colors I wanted halfway through so I ended up doing a ton of layer juggling to turn them into viable base colors. Grisaille never truly works for me.

Included original workfiles and timelapse for both illustrations.For the second one, the wererat, i went to experiment on ways to complement grisaille and the usual fast method i use for shading those commissions. I think this technique is overkill and more suited to fully detailed paintings, but the result is interesting.
