We doin Aayla today!

Drawn Aayla only a couple times. I’m not as practiced with her as I am with Ahsoka, or even Barriss. So how am I going to draw Aayla consistently over a couple dozen pages? I gotta get her look DOWN. That’s what today is about.

Also I made another page of SEHA!

Now who’s our next guest appearance…?

Vega’s most profitable month!!

After a long slump during my Velma debacle, I thought I’d plateaued. Was this dream out of juice?NO! Every single one of you, here, right now, has helped push me back onto the pattern of growth. That jagged little line shows how much money I’ve made each month from this funny little side hustle of mine. But to me, it’s about so much more than the monetary value. That graph shows your interes...

Yoda’s quarters flats finished!

Good god this takes time, but getting every detail right matters to me. I want to shade it, get a feeling for the tone. The warms of the colors, how they contrast out Blue, Yellow, and Orange characters.

Cummmmm

Also here’s a tease at a comic commission I’m working on.It’s just cum.Just, a ton of cum.

Trying this idea out

I’ve never done the expression sheet because I’ve always felt it was one more way to further put off the scary prospect of “making the actual comic.” I’ve gone through lots of corner cutting schemes to make the comic go faster. Super loose roughs (end up spending more time doing less quality linework). Skipping the warm up (again, quality suffers). And of course, minimal character prep (...

Two Tweaks!! Ep6pg 19!

Thanks Tweakers! Gobble up some Ventress.

In other news…

Progress in the location concept! This will help me with a defined color scheme, props, backgrounds, gosh, maybe even lighting if I dare? Lighting is so difficult, it terrifies me.

Barriss! Ya face!!

After HOURS of drawing, I think I’m pretty comfortable with the subtleties of Barriss Offee’s face. Looking forward to drawing so much more of this cute Mirialan!

BARRISS!!!

These Barriss’ are POPPIN

Ahsoka in (flat) color!

AND NUUUUUUUUDE

Always helpful to compare and contrast

Ahsoka, Jedi trained and toned

Guess who we drawing today??

No, more butt.

So much butt you need to see her in a profile

Barriss body type

HAD to take a minute today to go over every detail of Barriss and her form. To me, Barriss is all about that base.

Wu

Sometimes I like to literally copy another artist’s work line for line. Controversial! But I only use it as a warm up, and I credit the og artist. But why?! Well, drawing is just putting lines of one tone onto a large contrasting tone, rearranged in such a way that our brain connects the dots and says “oh that a face.” That’s all drawing is really. I’ve got my go-to lines that portray a f...

Two Tweaks Episode 6 (DELUXE!) Page 18

Hey gang! Got a new page for ya!Strap in!

Feels good drawing one of these…

It’s like flexing muscles you haven’t used in awhile. Real enjoyable. So these are the shapes, next I gotta find some background colors that best match orange, yellow, and blue skin. And yes, you are correct: Aayla will be training Ahsoka and Barriss in the ways of the SEH in Yoda’s quarters. (He’s never around, always hanging around Kashyyyk, something about his good relations with the Woo...

Loving the Discord!

Feel free to check out the Vega Versio discord channel! Been chatting with folks all day, giving me ideas on how to refine these outfits. The attached image has been modified to be EEEEEEEVER so much better. Can you spot all the differences?

The votes are in!

Next up on Two Tweaks: Episode 3, Teacher’s Pets! Aayla initiates Ahsoka and Barriss into a new SEH coven! The two delve into their fantasies, each other, and hey why not, Master Secura as well! The script is written (24 pages!), the outfits are realized. I may do a little color testing on some more detailed character drawings, and I also want to get a good idea for their location.Otherwise, tha...
