Silverstream Coin, experiment/test
Hey y'all.Sorry things have been a bit sparse, still in the US, with EFNW this coming weekend which had some prepping for it. Then the weekend after I'll be flying back home to the Netherlands.Couldn't find a good rhythm while here, and I got a lot of catching up to do. So once I'm back I can kinda get things rolling back into higher gear again, tho some of it will also be BronyCon...

Sound of Apple Chord
So still getting used to my temporary hardware setup. I do not know if I can trust the colours on this screen. It's throwing me off. Besides the fact I'm drawing on a screen lol.http://fav.me/dd5kbjp

Face Practice 20190305
http://fav.me/dd1ewgtBit of practice with varying multi-reference use, about 45 min. each.#1: Starting, no focus, muddling all referencing, not paying attention.#2: narrowing down, more focus, better use of multiple references (ended up taking some visual cues for the face from model Alice Vink)#3: No reference (except #2 in corner), and going by memory of what I just focused(I tried to make #3 a ...

Open Suggestions
[Above rough sketches were based on some of the suggests from last month, such as: Fluttershy, Sports, Animals, Applejack and Music.]Leave a comment below with your open suggestions this round!Who knows, it might just spark some inspiration for a sketch (or more if it really strikes some lightning)PS: It doesn't even have to be an art suggestion.
Fence Judge
Just a little Applejack doing Applejack stuff.Specifically in the style I started this year with. Both to just have something properly painted again, but also to remind myself not to let that visual style and rendering rust.I can get very distracted trying out a bunch of methods and style, and I never quite feel like I hone one to perfection anyway, but darnit if I don't at least try to be mor...
Dressed for Armour (Lines)
Working on my lines and designing. It was very hard to focus on these last months, but now finally kinda a style and approach that worked.Let's hope I can stick to it haha. Not sure if I'd end up painted this at one point, hopefully, but maybe. The idea was to make a combination of dress and armour (initially motivation from putting it on Rarity), but then this ended with slightly less dress...
Automatic Drawing
"Thought I should just upload this little off-piece."Last stream I ended with this Automatic Drawing. I do this every now and then.Just loosening up, relaxing the tense focus on specific scattered art goals.I've been all over the place these last months, not reaching any aspirations. It's good to fall back at times.I suppose it's kind of meditative. Just going with what feels a...
