page 715 black & white
Hey everyone! Here's what this page looked like before it was colored. I'll be posting a bunch of these in the next few weeks, and maybe you'll get to see some before they go up on the website! Thank you to everyone who helped make the color comics happen.
JULY ARCHIVES: Secret Skating Page
here's a neat one I dug up! Back when I did the Couch Sitter story, I had an extra page planned where Eve did a little ice skate jump. It ultimately seemed like filler to me, and I wasn't very happy with the art, so I dropped it. But it's cute, I think, in 2014!
dog piss!!
here's some of the EARLY sketches I did of piss dog. just for you!!
JULY ARCHIVES: Uncartoon Yourself
This is an idea I thought was REALLY FUNNY when all those "cartoon yourself!" gimmicky website ads were popular. I STILL THINK IT'S FUNNY.

JULY ARCHIVES: Bonehead Marek
At some point I wanted to do a parody of all the Beach Party movies from the 60s, to the great enjoyment of 3 people. This idea morphed in a beach murder mystery, and eventually the haunted mansion mystery in "OCTOPUS DIE". Somewhere in those early stages I drew Marek as Bonehead.
JULY ARCHIVES: Stoners
Here is a veeeery old drawing of Hanna's stoner friends! I imagined Marigold as a much more flowery, ditzy hippie early on. Sean was a little more rugged, but just kinda dirty looking. And Eff Nocka is Ian Jones-Quartey's character from NOCKFORCE, which he kindly let me use.
JULY ARCHIVES: Baristas
Here are some very early sketches of Jane, Ugly Jack, and that third guy nobody cares about. So early!!
JULY ARCHIVES
Hey Patrons! In the month of July I will be posting a bunch of old (vintage?) OP sketches I recently uncovered. Hope you enjoy these! They were all drawn between 2008 and 2011, though specifics have become unclear. This one is from an abandoned beach storyline that, I guess, would've featured a ton of characters! Personally I like Marek's tiny trunks the best.
Updates in April!
Hi all, just a quick note about updates this month. I was sidetracked by wedding travel, freelance, finishing up the book, and preparing a new storyline script this month. So far there have only been 8 new pages in April, rather than the promised 10. I WILL be posting 10 pages for April, though at this point they will spill into May. I'm committed to fulfilling the promised schedule on Patreon...
illustration progress
workin on This today. it's gonna be posted on the site and hopefully in an art show soon.
655 rough sketch
Here's a free public sample of the roughs I do on comics. Patrons get to peep deez. Enjoy!
653 rough
Here's my first pass of the beach scene. I like Eve's lil' mouth at the end. haha
more fight roughs
Some people have remarked that my pencils are VERY tight. They are! I just find it easier to solve all of my drawing challenges in the pencil stage, so I'm free to ink without stress. The roughs are where most of the energy come from, even though they are decidedly crappy drawings! I will post some more roughs in the future! p.s. the reason panel 1 is blank is that it was a very simple close...
fight doodles
some Hanna/Mar drawings that didn't quite make the cut
