AC Unity: WHAT HAPPENED?
Some mornings you wake up and have an idea, and then you've really got no choice but to knuckle down and do it, even if it is a Saturday. I hope you enjoy it! Matt x
Daft Souls 25: Majora's Mask, Advanced Warfare, Dragon Age
Hello hello! As promised I'm doing my best to keep the podcast going - I've got an intense week of catching-up-on-other-shit to get sorted next week, but after that things might hopefully start to calm down a little bit. You can only hope, hey? :D Matt x With Keza MacDonald (https://twitter.com/kezamacdonald ) and Chris Bratt (https://twitter.com/thebratterz ) iTunes: http://bit.ly/1iw...
CALL OF DUTY 60FPS GRIEF
Listen, right? I'm not even sure what this is, or how it happened, or why. But it happened. It's here. So let's just all try and move on with our lives and try and find a way to deal with it. Matt x
Why is Destiny's DLC so expensive?
SPOILER it's a silly video lol This one took a little while to make due to effects etc. but I'm fairly happy with how it came out. Enjoy a TV-style spoof from time to time, and the influences I'm wearing on my sleeve with this one shouldn't be too tough to spot. Hope you're having a lovely week! Matt x
Daft Souls 24: Live from Nottingham
Here's the full video of the first ever Daft Souls Live show, which hopefully will be of interest to those of you who couldn't make it for geographical reasons etc! Hope to do a London-based live show in the new year. :D Matt x
Sean Bean Quest
This is something I did this week with my dear friends Quintin and Paul. I had loads of fun making it, and I think you might enjoy listening to it as well. Matt x
Important update about the future
If you're someone who funds me on Patreon, watch this. It's a pretty short video that explains what the deal is, so yeah - have a watch! If people have any questions then do let me know. And thanks again, people - you're ALRIGHT. Matt x
Destiny in Detail - Part 1
YO! This took a while to make, sorry for the delay - not sure when part 2 will be done, but I do hope you enjoy it. Matt x
The Sarkeesian Effect - Director's Commentary
Just a quick spoof video about a couple of chaps who well and truly deserve to be mocked. Other videos ARE coming soon - just struggling to get stuff finished, etc. LOVE YOU BYE Matt
Another Bloody Update
No point in an update video this week as it's exactly the same as last week, except a bit worse. Spending the free time and energy I have to slowly work on videos for the channel, but yes - I'll avoid repeating myself for the time being. Regarding the future of the Patreon and the channel, to be perfectly honest right now I'm not sure - I face an extremely difficult period that will l...
Daft Souls 23: Shadows of Mordor, The End of ONM, Vault of Glass
Hey hey hey! New Daft Souls. Everything else is tricky at the moment, but I'll do my best not to drop the ball with this. :D Matt x
An Update
Hello, you! I mentioned this on Twitter today, and just wanted to keep you peeps in the loop too. I'll talk about this in the update vid n'all, but just a quick update in the meantime. Basically my other half had to go in for some unexpected and rather serious surgery last month - the details of which I won't go into - which was why I decided to put work to one side to focus on looki...
Vanishing of Ethan Carter: Is it Good?
Back on track, almost! :D Wanted to get a quick vid up before the weekend - here's a lovely and ridiculously spoiler-free look at The Vanishing of Ethan Carter. Matt x
Daft Souls 22
New Daft Souls! Enjoy! Matt x
Back on track!
Hello you! Thanks again for being so patient - as vaguely explained about 5 or so weeks ago, hurdles in my personal life effectively paralyzed my ability to create stuff. I wasn't sure I'd be able to create stuff frequently enough to justify the monthly Patreon payment, so as my own boss I took the decision that last month I didn't deserve to get paid. I'm glad to say that thing...
Destiny thing for VICE
Hello sausagedog! Here's a thing I wrote for VICE about Destiny. Don't be alarmed by the apparent negativity, it's a CLASSIC SWITCHEROO. I hope you enjoy it! Matt
Destiny's Loot Cave
Bit of an in-joke for Destiny addicts like myself, but hope you enjoy this little joke vid! Matt x
Destiny: Abridged Plot Synopsis (No Spoilers)
Yo! Here's a video I made explaining the plot of Destiny in under 3 minutes. It's spoiler-free, because Destiny doesn't really have a story. EN-JOY! x
Daft Só̸̶̞̰̝͉̫̠̀u̴̴̩͙̫̩̭̭̹͈͜lsZ̴͈̤̲̦̫̭̫͓̫̩̙̩͓͇͝ͅ
No podcast this week I'm afraid, but have this instead. Have a lovely weekend. Quinns x
Destiny: Review of This Room
This is a stupid thing I made. POTENTIALLY NSFW, I don't know. I have no idea where the lines are these days. Apologies in advance - hope you're all well! Matt x
Zuma Livestream Highlights
Hello! Been working on this for a while. In my brain, anyway. After my Sausage After the Rain video I had an idea involving streaming that would take things one step further. It took me a while to come up with a narrative to make use of that idea, but eventually I settled on this. It isn't perfect, but I quite like it. Matt x
Daft Souls 20: Building a PC, Industry Aggression
Ta-da! New Daft Souls.
An important update
HELLO yes this is vaguely important so please do watch it. The short version is that I'm turning off payments to my Patreon page for the time being, as I don't feel adequately able to do my job. Long version is in the video. Also: I look like a total twat in the video thumbnail, wtf youtube thanks a BUNCH You're all lovely, thank you for your ongoing support - I very much appreciate ...
Why can't we just talk about games?
This is a question I see asked a lot, and have seen asked a lot over the past week. It's an attitude that aggravates me, but here's a video where I try and explain why the answer to that question is really simple. Still didn't feel up to recording an update video, but will see how I feel tomorrow. Heavy life stuff going on at the moment unfortunately, and it's a bit of a struggle....
A big thing I wrote about ETHICS and CORRUPTION
Ooooooh hot potatoes. I'd been weighing up making a video on this topic for the past week or so, but in the end decided that trying to convince people of *THE TRUTH* (i.e. observable stuff proven purely by facts) would be a massive waste of my time. So then I thought about talking about that, and somewhat unusually decided that the clarity of tone required for something like this would make ...
Daft Souls 18: Invisible Inc, PT, XCOM Long War, Crypt of the Necrodancer
With Chris Bratt (twitter.com/thebratterz ) and Tamoor Hussain (twitter.com/tamoorh ) Didn't write anything here earlier, because I'm a muppet. :D Matt
COVERING SCHISM: Mountain
Alright so mainly I just had a loose joke based on it sounding like Jizz. THAT'S IT. SORRY. Matt x
No update vid this week
Really sorry to miss yet another update vid, but I've given it a lot of thought and I just don't think I can do it this week. It's important to me that I'm always 100% myself in these videos, and right now due to personal stuff I honestly don't think I can do that. It's nothing to worry too much about - I'm fine - but something's come up that I can't really talk...
We Are Doomed: IS IT GOOD?
As promised, I'll be making more of an effort to cover more games more frequently for the next few months. Here's a little game I got linked to a while back that I finally got around to checking out. BUT IS IT GOOD, MATT?
HOT KOJIMA SAUSAGE REVEAL
Listen I was really jetlagged, alright? x
