Rocket Queen Amplitube Session
A Patron requested to hear Izzy's parts in this one. Here is my Rocket Queen Backing Track session in Amplitube. All Izzy's tracks are there and all my isolated tracks. You can mix this anyhow you like, solo Izzy's parts, and if you have have my tones downloaded, just plug and play along with it using the exact same tone I used. Unzip and away you go. Enjoy!
More Than a Feeling Page Post
UPDATE: I've attached a backing track to this AS WELL the isolated tracks inserted into an Amplitube file. This means that if you have Amplitube, you can mix your own backing track. Pretty cool feature. You can get Amplitube MAX here if you haven't already done so: https://bit.ly/3ftP3nAI really enjoyed getting the tones for this one. I downloaded them off of Amplitube's Tone Net and d...
Wish You Were Here Early Access Video
Thanks so much for your votes in the last song poll. Really enjoyed doing this song. I decided to record vocals even though I am not a strong in the singing department. It just seemed a little empty without something there so I gave it my best shot.I have also begun a long term partnership with Blue Lava Guitars. I loved the guitar that they sent me (for the Never Going Back Again video) so much t...

Song Poll
Hey guys, these are random songs chosen by subscribers this time around. No particular order. I know a few of them but for the most part, unfamiliar with how to play the full songs. Shouldn't take very long to tab or create backing tracks for these. Looking forward to seeing your choices!
Highway Star (Practice Tab and News)
Hey guys,Just wanted to give an update on how things are going with this tune. This is going to be a great video with accurate tabs and I can't wait to get it out there. The backing track has been created. I was struggling to get a decent hammond organ sound so I did some research and looked around. Sure enough, IKMultimedia has a Hammond B-3X plugin and they were happy to provide that for me. ...
Video Update
Hey guys,The next video, Sad But True by Metallica, will be delayed until Thursday. Was hoping to get it out there for you today and on YT for tomorrow. This was a fairly easy song. However, there's a few things that I overlooked and I MUST get this right because... well... that's one of the main purposes of my page!-There's a pull-off that Hetfield does in the chorus on the open A str...

Beat It Page Post
Checked out a YT clip of Lukather playing the main riffs in this song and looks like the positioning is correct. This was really fun. IKMultimedia has some really cool tones instantly downloadable on Tone NET however the solo tone did not jive with me so I created my own for that, which I will release tomorrow. If you don't have Amplitube and are looking to get the same tones as me for at home ...
Polls for Next Month's Tab
Hey Guys,I was asked to pick a Judas Priest song and I am familiar somewhat with "Got Another Thing Comin" and it reminds me of Guitar Hero.We have some Gary Moore fans out there and if there was a good song to do, it would be "Still Got the Blues". I am interested here. I just need to listen to the tune a little more.A challenging tune was suggested. Something like Far Beyond the ...

Hey guys,Asking for some suggestions on songs for next month. I will narrow your suggestions to a poll where you can vote. You can make a comment below with your suggestions. If I don't choose a particular song that you like, don't feel left out. It's either because it's lacking in community interest level or perhaps I am technically not capable of playing it in the attainable futur...

Video Update
Hey everyone,My next video is going to be Crossroads and I was hoping to get it out there tomorrow. However I just realized that I have the tempo to this wrong. It's supposed to speed up during the solos and slow down during the verses. I recorded with straight tempo during the whole song. And I think for this tune, maybe it's important to not do that. It needs that human element for sure....
