Falsetober 2023
Not exactly sure why I wrote "see you in November" because (1) I won't, and (2) I will be posting several times in October. You get it though! I'm a giant anthropomorphized goldfinch and I'll be doing my month-long story thingy in November this year. I'm very excited for it! I've got a story I've been meaning to write for a few years now and I hope you're going ...

Part 10 - No no no!

Part 9 - *Underwater Gasp*
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------Sometimes I make strips in order to paint one panel in particular. In this case, it was the last panel. I really love playing around with the effects that water can produce, so I wanted to try painting the perspective of one character looking up at another through the surface of water. I started the panel by looking ...

On the way to TCAF 2023
This weekend we're in Toronto for the annual comic arts festival, and I decided to make some quick comics along the way! I made more than this already, but it is very slow to edit them with a laptop touch pad, so I will be uploading more later. These comics here will also be on my social media, but the rest will only be available on patreon.AbandonmentJust 'causeIf any of you live in Toron...
munch munch munch
Sometimes I'm not exactly sure what compels me to make some comics. This time of year I spend a lot of my time gasping at the fresh signs of life around me, so that's probably enough of an explanation for this one. Even if my ideas don't really go anywhere I try to see them through in order to move on, sort of like how it can be helpful to listen to a song to get it out of your head.~~...
Part 2
This is part 2 of the comic I started last Friday. Not exactly sure where it is going, but I'm having fun drawing it and not really pressuring myself with much.

Falsetober books have arrived!
At long last, Spores is here!I'm very happy and relieved with how the book turned out. I was having nightmares that the pages would somehow print out of order, but everything is in its right place and looks wonderful. It's a great moment to open a finished book for the first time, to see it as an object in the world.(me, relaxing on thousands of books)The process of putting the book togeth...

Their insatiable urge to kill is so endearing!-----Hey pals,I received something unexpected in the mail today...I'm so touched that Sequential nominated False Knees and very grateful for everyone who voted! Quick Comic + *Book Update*
Friends! I am very happy to say that my Falsetober story from last year is finally getting printed! I have called it Spores and it should be finished in early April. Here is a photo of the proof that the printer sent me:A proof is a draft-printing of the manuscript I sent them, using the paper and ink of my choice, but in large sheets before getting cut. This year I chose to do a spot-colour proce...
