Lake Time at Las Lomas
Each afternoon, after a full day of school and hard play, our boys cool off in the lake at Las Lomas.
Grand Opening House Party!
Earlier this year we celebrated the grand opening of our new home in the city of Iquitos called Aporcar with a house party and mariachi band! As our boys prepare to enter high school they will move into this new home with their house parents as they transition to a higher level of education in Iquitos.

Trip to Pisco
Recently our oldest boys took another trip outside of the jungle to the Pisco province of Peru. They flew to Lima then drove down the coast to the city of Ica where they learned how wine is made, explored ancient sites, and rode dune buggies through the desert. They then travelled to Paracas to see wild life and enjoy some time on the beach. Another great opportunity to expand their world view.

Trip to Lima!
Tomorrow, 10 of our oldest boys will be going on a week long trip to the capital city of Lima. For all of them it will be their first time out of the jungle and on a plane. While in Lima they will go to the presidential palace, museums, the national theater and even the beach! This is the moment they found out they were going.Our hope is that educational and cultural experiences like this will ope...
