Diane

Winner of the March Illustration Poll!Hi res have been added to the archive, along with the timelapse and clip/psd files for Enthusiast tier.

I'm going to be taking April off for a holiday. There wont be a poll or any commissions, I'm probably not going to have the time for anything at all. I've paused payments so you can stay subscribed without being charged for April. Any new signups in April will still get charged by Patreon, though.I should be back in time to return to normal schedule for May. I'll make sure there&#3...

March Illustration Poll - Results

Diane takes it for March! It was pretty close between her and Krystal but she pulled ahead in the end. Thanks to everyone who participated!

Heavy Lifting

Commission

Sally Acorn

I always thought she was a squirrel. The 'Acorn' part threw me.

Sketches

First two are going to be examples for some commissions I'll be looking to do soon. Otherwise these sketches are mostly just messing around with characters and practicing some more dynamic poses.

March Illustration Poll - Supporter (Repost)

Doing a little different this month, with some previous winners and Krystal. I thought Krystal had one before but I can't actually find any record of her being on the poll at all. Still, she fits with the lineup. If this roster looks like it's just a bunch of the most popular characters, well... that's because it is. It doesn't feel fair throwing these against more obscure characte...

Backstage, Deer Festival and Marie Process

I didn't save any wips for it, but the timelapse and clip/psd files for Marie Itami have been added to the archive. Thank you for your patience! There's also partial recordings of Deer Festival and Backstage, for those interested. Recorded them on a whim, so it's mostly just the rendering stages of both of them, but I did save out these wips along the way.

Marie Itami

Winner of this month's Illustration Poll! I fell off of BNA pretty quickly, so I know very little about her.I kinda messed up a bit with the timelapse. I've been using Blender 4.2 lately and the OBS setup I use for screen recording wasn't playing nice so there are chunks missing out of the 3D stage. I'll try and have it fixed for the next one. The 2D process is almost all there, as...

Deer Festival

Backstage

Clay's still got some of that old rockstar in him. Incidentally, so does Porsha.

Sketches & WIPs

Haven't been doing a lot of my usual pages of sketches recently. I've been working on commissions, the main illustration and starting other stuff that I actually intent on turning into proper scenes. A lot of my personal art time has been focused on practicing with this style, like what I did with the last locker room scene.

February Illustration Poll - Results

Marie takes the win, and by a single vote! That was a close one! Thanks to everyone who participated!

Sketches

Sketches and some quick paintings. I also tried doing some actual inking again. It's still not where I want it to be but I feel like I'm starting to get the hang of it.

Opinion Poll

So the illustration poll has been running for a while now, and looking back it's clear I've grown a lot as an artist. I've been wondering if it might be good to have a chance to revisit old winners. So, how would all of you feel about allowing previous winners back on the poll after a while? How long of a delay would you think is fair? One year? Two?This is also a good opportunity make ...

Locker Room

Worked on this one a little more, cleaned it up a bit and added some more characters. This was something of an experiment, trying to use a simpler style and get the characters to fit in to a 3d background with minimal editing. I only made some minor adjustments in CSP on the background outside of Blender, tweaking colour/texture of the lines, adding character's shadows and some bloom/atmospher...
