Phoebe's Robot Tiger Redux (Feb. 2023)

Last year I'd resorted to 'Phoebruary' where most of the month was dedicated to reruns of older Phoebe-based pics. I often do this because late January/early February is always a very bad time of year for me with my job. It's the semester end, which means I have endless exams to mark and reports to write, and it's hectic. But Februrary itself is usually a quieter month, so I to...

New Year 2023 (Jan. 2023)

Last year's January incentive. Not one of my favorites but I tried.

Alt-text: "You can put the toddler on the potty but you can't make her pee. You can put the saddle on the puma but you can't stop it from eating your foot. You can throw the pizza at the opposing military force but you can't make it explode."

A Very Merry Phoebe (Dec. 2022)

This was the final Christmas Eve entry on the advent calendar last year, and I was definitely saving the best for last. This is pretty much the best pic of Phoebe I've ever drawn, in my opinion. I just like it.

Peanuts Daphne and Snoopy (Dec. 2022)

Majorly channeling some Peppermint Patty energy with Daphne here. 100% intentional.

Satanic Gingerbread (Dec. 2022)

This is the last cookie one. I promise.

Holly Wreath Emily (Dec. 2022)

Some of these pics are a little flawed but that's what comes from the medium: you can't neatly edit pencil sketches without making a mess of them.

Peanuts Soccer with Hannah and Puck (Dec. 2022)

This was an interesting suggestion from one of the patrons. Drawing Peanuts characters is kinda hard, btw. Schulz had a very particular way of drawing arms and hands.

Gingerbread Emily (Dec. 2022)

Another cookie. Someone stop this cookie madness!

Egg Nog Puck (Dec. 2022)

Puck's freckles are a little more of a pain for me when I actually have to draw them. Worth it, though.

Holly Wreath Daphne (Dec. 2022)

Less likely as an angelic face, but hey, let's suspend disbelief.

Peanuts Emily the Cat Girl (Dec. 2022)

Seriously, where are all the cats in Peanuts? Charles Schulz just wasn't a cat man, I guess.

Candy Cane Tracee (Dec. 2022)

A little spicy for a candy cane, but hey.

Ginger Shnorf (Dec. 2022)

Looks a lot like the Mr. Staypuff, I guess.

Holly Wreath Phoebe (Dec. 2022)

Let's assume this pose is just an indication of peace and tranquility, not an act of prayer. Her dad wouldn't be very happy if it were the latter.

Jugglin' Baby (Dec. 2022)

Now there's something you don't see every day.

Puck 733 - Hi-res

Alt-text: "That's the annoying thing about those little guys: no one ever asks for their opinions but they never fail to chime in."

Ballerina Phoebe (Dec. 2022)

So elegant!

Peanuts Phoebe (Dec. 2023)

More Peanuts. Nothing says Christmas more than Charles M. Schulz.

Gingerbread Tracee (Dec. 2023)

Obviously generating 24 original images (on top of the weekly comic) was a real challenge last year, so some of these pics are pretty simple. But they bought me more time to do some more involved images too.
