Playing with AI
As I explore design options for the games I'm making, I tried turning some of my photos into AI-generated images. Here are the results from today. No consistency in the results, enough to be usable, but it's my first day trying.

One-player mode
Been developing a 1-player rule set, for this newest game I'm making! It's working really well, and I'm excited. Just fine-tuning it, documenting and tweaking, finalizing the updated prints, and releasing!
Years later
A message someone sent me this week. A glimpse into the heart behind the artmaking—why I do what I do.Of course there are elements of fun in this process, for me and those I work with. But also there are lots of heavy things to work through, and it was when I saw it save lives, that's when I made it my full-time work. You folks help make that feasible.

My brother's passing
Thank you to all who have extended their care and support after my brother's sudden passing on Saturday (two days ago). We still don't know what the cause was.People sometimes say things that undermine the reality of online friendship, but in my experience, online friends can be just as real (or just as fake) as "real life" friends. I for one have very much benefited from both.

Sunset dreams
Last night I had the sort of dream that is pretty much a nightmare for a photographer. I was supposed to meet a model for a sunset shoot, but I also had my brother help me move a bed to (or from) a restaurant or mattress store or something. I forget the details, but the horrific part was that there was this glorious sunset that was just ending, and we weren't going to be able to meet the model...
