Artist Edition
Here's another Artist Edition illos from the Kickstarter for Evil Inc After Dark: Middle Management.
Power Girl
For some reason, the Power Girl cartoon above isn't in my archive. I found it looking for old convention photos and accidentally stumbled across it! As I was trying to find the original to add it to the official archive, I went down a rabbit hole of the many times Power Girl has popped up in my comics career. Enjoy!⬆️ You can't blame those guys for trying. Unfortunately, that was as cl...

The Best of Evil Inc After Dark, 2024
Here are some of my favorite moments from EiAD over the past year!
NSFW commission — Goblin Girl
Merry Christmas and all of my best wishes this holiday season! Here's a delightful scene featuring a shortstack goblin girl who doesn't quite understand the nuance of humans' language. I've included a textless version of this one, as I often do with the micro-fic commissions. But the b&w version looked so cool I included that, too!
Santa is a supervillain
Back in (gulp)2014, I did a comic in verse titled “Santa is a supervillain.”I thought it would be fun to share it today because (a) it made me chuckle, and (b) it’s fun to see how much my art and writing have changed over the years. And now… the rest of the story…When that comic ran, I was also offering a greeting card at the time in my store. It looked like this. It didn’t exactly sell...

Here's the first comic of 2025! As I pause to prepare the next chapter, we’ll check in on some corners of the Evil Incuniverse. Today, we’ll see how Miss Match’s class for supervillains is going.
Commission — Miss Match's cozy cottage (NSFW version)
This commission imagines Miss Match enjoying a cup of hot cocoa in a cozy cottage. I wanted to add something special to this image so I wrote a special Evil Inc version of "The Night Before Christmas." I had so much fun doing that I then wrote an Evil Inc After Dark version! Both appear in the image gallery! The SFW version is below and the NSFW version can be found as a .txt file in the a...

Bonus cartoon — Wreaths

Developing a drawing style
My friend, Scott Christian Sava, once said that his art was a mosaic of all of the artists who inspired him. That video really resonates with me. Like nearly everyone who picked up How To Draw Comics the Marvel Way, I was obsessed with drawing like “Big” John Buscema. I got the book in ’77, and I’ve been hooked ever since. It always kinda breaks my heart a little when I read about how he did...
Artist Edition — Desi solo
Here's a recent Artist Edition bookplate I'm really happy with! Desi is hot on her own tail.

Coming soon...
Here’s your guide to everything coming your way in the Evil Incuniverse!Chapter 15The current chapter of Evil Inc will wrap up this month. The Fairmount branch will get new leadership — Captain Heroic’s former agent, Cassie Cruz. Tempest was so darned fun to draw that I decided she should stick around as Cassie’s corporate liaison. I’m sure Desi will be thrilled. The final epilogue will ...

Evil Inc, full page, Week of Dec. 3, 2024
In Epilogue One,we had our first reveal. Way back at the start of this chapter, we were introduced to Albert, who insisted that his partner in crime was an 800-pound moth man who was invisible. But Cassie was never sure if he was telling the truth… The top half of today's page settled it once and for all. Not only is he real, but evidently he's tough enough to conquer a kaiju. In Epilogue...
NSFW commission — Tempest and the tailor
The tailor's newest client had her own fashion ideas. Tempest wanted to adorn herself in clouds of her own making. But the teasing tailor quickly demonstrated why that wouldn't be a good idea.I'm away from my studio today, so I'll post an updated version of this commission with the micro-fic narration a little later.
