show n tell! :)Β
new boot goofin
random behind the scenes detail- Iβm testing out all my boots and heels to pick which will make the best clickity clackity for the haberdashery. My filming room floor is carpeted, so I stole the top off a table for the sake of the clack. Slipperier than anticipated. :-)
penumbra progress
Originally thought this was going to be in black and white- but I'm having a ton of fun playing with colors β₯βΏβ₯
Needle Felting Outtakes
Blood sweat and tears! But mostly blood!
penumbra
Weird layered visual/audio experiment Iβm working on! :)
Testing ποΈ
Oof. Tried a trust fall with auto-focus and it dropped me hard. Next time weβre going manual, pinky promise!
Lost & Found
A very dramatic hat tip @ wightpants: world renowned top hat sleuth extraordinaire. Thanks for knowing my prop closet better than I do βοΈ
π© π©
Finally finished the backdrop/props/script for the Haberdashery, but canβt seem to find that pesky hat anywhere amoungst my Prop Mountain. How does one manage to lose an entire top hat?! How! >:( I guess I could just buy another one- but Iβm not sure Iβm quite ready yet to be someone who owns two top hats.

Editing on the floor is where I do my best work. πββοΈ (An antique shopping video that should be up later tonight π)

Ready to record this voiceover as soon as the guys out on the sidewalk wrap up their freestyle rap battle. β¨
π§₯
A couple of screen grabs from an upcoming outfit video (which there was apparently pAint on my arms for the entirety of!! the nervE!) Not visible here, but driving me mildly to moderately insane while editing. ΰ² _ΰ²₯
Unintelligible Whispers & Face Touches
Had lots of requests for this after the lil unintelligible blurb in a recent video. Definitely going to use a shotgun mic next time I do something this quiet- hope you'll still enjoy ｑββΏβｑ
Ship Captain π¦βοΈ
This character is still a few more Babblebrook episodes away, but I was far too excited about this hell-of-a-hAT to wait on the costume test. What sort of name do you think she should have?
Bridgette Thumbnail
Uploading now! Which thumbnail do you think works best?
Babblebrook B-roll
3rd night of shooting b-roll α¦(Γ²_Γ³Λ)α€ (the hardest part was not eating all the bread...)
π₯ Bridgette Preview Clip πΊ
My headphones broke, so Iβve only been able to use my computer speakers while editing this so far. The mixing might be pretty off. Getting a new pair today, so it should be much better in the final version :)
Bridgette π
Just finished filming the primary component of Bridgette's video. I really like how the background turned out for this one! Now on to the B-roll :)
Bridgette Script Snippet
I've finally got the script to about 3,000 words, which should translate to a 30-minute-ish video. Enough, or should I push it longer? I've still got more ideas, but it takes time to flush it all out and get the details just right, and I know you guys are eager for this video to just be the hell up already. π
Bloopers Babyyy
A lot of the time I can get through an entire video without any bloops at all. But tonight was just...one of thOse nights.
Babblebrook Inn Backdrop
Still working on the script (let me know if you guys have got any ideas for Bridgette's ramblings~) but I finished up the set today! :)
Early Release: Designercon Art Haul
Sorry for the lack of intro in this one- I lost the footage! But I really do hope you're doing very, very, very well. :)
