A bit of a pick-me up

I’ve been feeling pretty down lately if you couldn’t tell, but I’ve started to feel a lot better recently. Yesterday was my birthday, so I was busy enjoying that, but throughout the day I did find time to work on this. Cookie has always been there with me at my lowest points, and with recent experiences it just felt nice to draw them again.

They were tasked with fighting off a group of mole-lions, pretty ravenous demons. While they were successful in their battle, everyone’s clothing had been torn apart by the beasts sharp claws and fangs. Slash got the worst of it though.

For a combat heavy character i surprisingly hadn’t drawn clothing damaged yet, until now anyway. I’m sure he’ll undergo some kind of clothing damage in the actual comic, but we’re only one chapter in so far.

New artwork featured in an ad for the Dr.Badger web-series airing this august. The Japanese “badger” text overlayed on him seems to be in reference to the shirt he wore in “Lovely Night Out” so it’s pretty likely that that’ll be one of the adapted comics.
