People have opened up their homes and gardens to show off and sell their imaginative creations. I’ve just mooched around a lil church hall and found a stall that sells abstract collages and I fell in love not with one piece, but at least 5. I compromised and bought 3. 😍
One of the pieces made me think of prison and freedom. It had what I interpreted as a watch tower, some fence, and a bird. It made me think of the time I’d watch from my cell window the different wildlife that would effortlessly enter and leave prison. I was jealous.
The art is actually a lighthouse, so sorta a watch tower, but different in purpose to what I imagined.
It struck a chord with me so I bought it.
