**Spending the weekend researching + organising for the 75 H..
🕑 Added 2024-02-03 18:10:42 +0000 UTC **Spending the weekend researching + organising for the 75 Hard challenge!** *Have you heard of it?* ๐ญ Itโs a regime involving a list of 5 strict daily rules: 1) follow a diet (no ๐บ or cheat days) 2) complete two 45 minute workouts (one must be outside!) 3) take daily progress pictures 4) drink 1 gallon of water 5) read 10 pages of a non-fiction book 50% of this list is literally unrealistic for me so Iโm going to alter it slightly in the hopes it becomes more accessible to me. *Why would I do this?* โพ๏ธ Consistency and discipline are two characteristics I really value in people and I donโt believe I possess them myself. I want to work on this. ๐๏ธ I have been neglecting my mental and physical health of late so I desperately want to regain control of this. ๐ Since university I fell out of love with reading. It used to be my safe haven but now I view it as a time-wasting activity. Gah! โ๏ธ I want to push myself. I want to see the effects of self-discipline. I want to be proud of myself. I want to feel more confident. I want to be optimistic and seize the day. Iโm planning on following a fitness plan Iโve discovered which does incorporate rest days. I donโt feel guilty about this whatsoever because rest days are important for rejuvenation. I also believe itโll assist with remaining consistent. Iโm cutting out take-aways + ๐บ except on social occasions. Iโm going to take film mini-vlogs + take progress pictures when I feel like it. Iโll strive for drinking 2L of water every day, and I fully intend on reading every night before bed. I know this is going to suck tremendously but I need a new challenge. I need to shake things up a bit. There is a rule that if you miss a day then you have to start from the beginning. This sounds kinda tough but I like the idea of it because it might end up taking me months to complete this and I donโt see that as a bad thing. The worst case scenario would be giving up entirely, obviously, but it would also suck if I completed the 75 days and then return to my old ways. Regardless, Iโm giving it a shot. Iโve done a 45 minute workout already today and Iโm now researching meal plans so I can stock up for next week. Eeeeeekkkk. Letโs hope I can keep at this. *Anyone else wanna join in?* ๐ซฃ
