Like so many other things, we are learning. Its been years of questioning, deciding, changing my mind, questioning, deciding again, questioning, deciding I didn't have to decide, then deciding again. And now I just cycle between not having to label it and labeling it. It's been a journey and I am SO privileged for being a cis pansexual woman who had been in mostly cis heterosexual relationships and I fully recognize that privilege and others. However I also know the pain of being shunned by your own family for being something other than heterosexual, the gaslighting and offhand comments, the questioning, the judging. That shit hurts. And shouldn't happen. This month is for pride. Talking about our struggles, recognizing them, and trying to create a future where they don't have to exist anymore. I'm proud of being pansexual despite the opposition. I'm proud of loving who I love, and I will not be quiet and I will not be secret about it. This is who I am. Take me or leave me. π₯°ππ
