Yesterday ended up being heavy in feelings. When I went to my belly dance class I kept on feeling like I couldn't move like everyone else because my joints are so stiff and my muscles have a hard time isolating. This video comes to you as the last thing I did in the day, because I promised I would. It's not great, I am a super beginner in a broken body Im trying to give myself freedom of movement where most of my muscles are frozen from pain. They have been for years.
At first I was anxious to take a belly dance class. Myex roommate was an instructor and once upon a time said something she probably meant kindly. But this class is being taught by my friend, fresh teaching and a little haphazard, just like me. I love her dearly, and I am learning how to sit within myself and love myself into fixing some major body trauma developed over years.
I will get better. One day at a time. Recovery is possible.
