PSA: SAFE WORDS
During sexting sessions, particularly those involving kink, but also in general for every session, I use the traffic light system. For those who are not familiar, here is a run down:
Green π’ = everything is good, youβre enjoying whatβs happening, and are okay with increasing the intensity even. Often used with check ins like asking βwhatβs your colour ?β.
Yellow π‘ = pause. You need a break, or to lessen the intensity of the scene, but still want to continue after a break / dip in intensity. If there is something specific you need to change rather than the general intensity, youβll need to communicate it, e.g. ββmaybe just a little less degradation. If/when Iβm ready for more, Iβll let you knowβ.
Red π΄ = Stop the scene immediately. Youβve reached a limit or are not comfortable continuing the scene/session. We can either discuss what happened immediately, or later on, or at a later date. Or not at all if you prefer, until weβre in another session, at which point if you discovered a limit, I would need to know that limit.
