**Introducing Toys to The Bedroom**
Sex toys are often a common topic these days. It seems like everyone has experienced using them or they have a collection that they love. Mr. Cullen and I were pretty hesitant to incorporate them into our sex life, at first. Since then, we have grown to love exploring new ideas and toys to spice things up in the sheets.
*Let me take you back in time.*
Mr. Cullen and I had just spent the last decade in a house filled with littles, and surrounded by nursery rhymes. Our youngest was about to be 3 and we were finally out of the baby stage! Most of the kids were now sleeping through the night so we were able to focus more on us.
*What are we gonna do with all this time together??*
Well, needless to say, we made up for our lost times in the bedroom. ; ) I had fun exploring lingerie again. He had fun building my confidence back up. We were entering a new season in our marriage.
While finding lingerie apps and exploring new sexy clothes for myself, I kept seeing these toys. I started to mention it to some friends. *They all knew about them!* I was now very curious.
*How I brought this conversation up with Mr. Cullen*
I told him I was curious about this. Curious about how it would affect us in the bedroom. We both disregarded the idea with the thought that what we had going was perfect. *Why fix something that isn't broken?* We loved the challenge of using ourselves to please each other, fingers, placements, positions, and so on.
Then we kept seeing more and more people online talk about it. Squirting became a common thing these women would say along with these toys. I was beginning to get more curious.
*It became a date night*
We starting shopping online after the kids were asleep a couple nights a week. We would turn music on instead of a show and talk, explore, (and laugh) together. It was fun to be curious together.
*about a month into learning*
We finally bought a toy!! I was like Christmas! We felt excited to do this 'new thing'. And the rest is history.
