🕑 Added 2023-08-21 12:34:46 +0000 UTC Good Morning ๐ I had a relaxing Sunday. After mowing the lawn I spent the rest of the day watching TV (Netflix) ๐ณ. Sometimes I need to do absolutely nothing to calm my nervous system down. When Iโm go go go and focused on doing/achieving I feel like I loose all creativity and enjoyment of life. The goal oriented mindset that worked for me in my 20โs, 30โs and 40โs doesnโt seem to work so well in my 50โs. I get tired and overwhelmed really easily now. Iโm not sure if itโs because Iโm a single parent now. They only have me and the pressure of that can be absolutely unbearable at times. Iโm also not sure how much menopause plays into it. Itโs pretty ironic that the year that I do OF is the year that I head into Menopause. Iโve experienced strong bouts of anxiety for what feels like the first time this year. Exhaustion like Iโve never felt before. Brain fog that has made me wonder if I will ever be โnormalโ again. Youโve all witnessed me go through the โchangeโ. I bet thatโs a first on OF. ๐ I think most of my fans are close to my age. Iโm assuming most have experienced changes with midlife too. Regardless of gender our bodies and minds are changing at this stage and we are having to adaptโฆ fast! Anyway Iโm over sharing again. ๐ Have a great Monday ๐
