Lunar New Year ๐
Returning to yesterday's topic, of course, such a popular board game as MTG could not ignore the Chinese New Year ๐งง Therefore, every year starting in 2020 (if I'm not mistaken) Wizards of the Coast releases Secret Lair with cards dedicated to the animal patrons of the coming year:
"Pack Rat" ๐ - The cutest card that depicts a large family of rats who are going to celebrate the New Year! They are holding lanterns, various gifts and tangerines, which are considered New Year symbols in China along with oranges ๐ By the way, in China trays with tangerines and oranges replace the Christmas tree we are used to!
"Rabbit Battery" ๐ - The Chinese have given the world many important and cool inventions, such as fireworks ๐
This nimble robot rabbit is so happy about the holiday that he is literally engulfed in flames! I hope the firecrackers in his teeth just burn with beautiful lights and do not cause damage, although they look quite dangerous ๐งจ
"Sethron, Hurloon General" ๐ - A majestic bull (in this case, a Minotaur) enjoys a bright holiday! The art has a lot of traditional, festive attributes, from lanterns and dragons to drums, which are designed to drive away evil spirits ๐ฅ
I wish you a Happy New Year My Friends!! And may all your sincere wishes come true โจ๐๐ฅฐ
