I have received so many messages from the men in our community who are living in a state of fear and anxiety post election. Whenever we are dealing with things that scare us we tend to contract and protect ourselves. This is a natural response. But in order to heal and navigate through our challenges at some point we need to relax and expand our perspective. This gives us a wider view of our situation, and from this higher vantage point the path ahead becomes much more clear.
All of the gains LGBTQ+ people have made in the past 50 years is because of the strength of our community. It is now more important than ever to move forward with compassion and understanding. Our internal bond with each other needs to hold strong for all of our lives to get better.💙🌈
