✨IMPORTANT UPDATE FOR EVERYONE: PLEASE READ✨
If you’re like me and located in TN, then starting Jan 1st you’ll be required to provide an ID in order to access adult sites. This law is already active in Florida and to some degree in Texas where PornHub stopped doing business months ago. This makes my and possibly your ability to access Fansly or any adult site without purchasing a VPN a lot more difficult and verifying through third party service can run the risk of having your photo ID and information stolen electronically.
This is something that’s been in talks since May of this year and places such as Free Speech Coalition are actively fighting these laws in court as they don’t really protect anyone and actually run the risk of doing more harm than good, placing most of the burden of responsibility and safety on adult websites NOT the parents to install safe guards on their end. I am not sure how this will impact my ability to use Fansly just yet but other sites are already posting countdowns for how many days until this takes effect in the states imposing these laws.
