the world became more comfortable at sunset. stars appeared. the breeze cooler my bare skin. alone on the roof of the boat I could play in privacy for a moment and feel like myself. π«§
today I planted coral. The current was strong trying to pull me away to the blue. I accidentally broke off pieces of the coral and in exchange, the coral broke off pieces of my nails. It was beautiful and relaxing. Little fish swimming around my fingers. I was also stressed by many thoughts of not drifting away, running out of air, bumping into other people, damaging coral, and a million little thoughts and memories that floated to the surface of my mind from 8m below the surface.
Itβs another form of meditation. Meditation is not alway perfectly relaxing, clear empty mind. More often than not, meditation is just looking at whatβs going on in your mind, realizing how much is in there and watching it pass by. Slowing down enough to notice.
