Period.Working out is hard, but do you know what else is hard? Living in misery because you’re unhappy with yourself. Living with constant prescriptions because you’re too lazy to care for the problem itself (with exception to prescriptions for an illness/disease that’s out of your control).
Living with aching bones, diabetes, heart disease and obesity, all which can lead to depression, all because you refuse to eat healthy and workout.
Granted there are exceptions; old age, major disabilities, debilitating diseases and what not, but most of the time, all the shit I mentioned above can be remedied, cured and prevented by a healthy lifestyle.
I constantly hear people bitchin and complaining about their current situations and yet not a single one takes the initiative to make themselves better. Excuses is all I hear. Two weeks ago I had a partial tear to my calf and hamstring. Did that stop me from working out? No. Not a single day was lost. Did I have to adjust my training accordingly, of course. It’s still healing, and I’m still in the gym killing it daily.
My thing is; if you’re happy being overweight, unhealthy, diabetic, etc. then this message isn’t for you. You’re happy! You won! That’s what most important in life, being happy. BUT….if you’re constantly complaining about your situation yet do nothing about it. Shut the fuck up. No one likes a complainer, and no one like excuses. It’s just weakness. Period.
