Did you know that shaking releases trauma and tension in your body? Children and animals shake when they are scared or in danger. But as we grow older and learn to not show fear, we also learn to controll our shaking. We eventually stop shaking. But as we go through life, we will experience trauma at some extent no matter what. And our bodies doesn't release the trauma when we are in these situations, so it gets stored in our nervous system, facia and other tissue in the body.
So next time you shake, if you are cold, anxious or scared, try to release all that stored trauma and let your body shake as much as it needs and wants! Breathe with it, make sounds with it, dance with it. Don't try to think about or analyse your trauma, just release it from your system and make positive affirmations like "I deserve nothing less than the best for me", "what happened to me was not my fault", "everything is going to be ok", "I am powerful, strong and wise" etc. Whenever you think something negative about yourself or someone who doesn't deserve it, find a way to say the opposite. That's basically how you make affirmations.
And shake it off!
