Personal projects fall by the wayside in lieu of needing time to not think. Screens are my constant and without them, I feel like I either need to be doing something productive or I should be sleeping. I ignore piles of items begging to be organized and focus on the monotony of routine.
Doom scrolling is a nightly occurence and while it brings comfort and numbness, I know it adds to the anxiety and depression.
I need to change my routine again and stick to what I know is good for me.
