long story incoming~
At the end of the November right before I traveled for Thanksgiving I was organizing all my content on iCloud for the first time which if you use it, keeps your photos in chronological order.
At the same time... my doctor has been monitoring a mole on my booba... you will definitely know which one it is next time I share pics xD
Well, looking through my years of thotty pics on iCloud... I realized this suspicious mole did not even EXIST in 2016 AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!
It popped up somewhere in 2017 and grew slowly, but surely to become kind of suspicious (fully suspicious).
This sent me into a panic, but I had to travel the next day to Florida, so there was nothing I could do immediately. I had made an appointment for as soon as I could after returning to CA.
Fortunately, my family had already planned to be in town so they were able to help me through all this! When we returned to CA and I went to the dermatologist with my timeline of pics, she looked at the pic of no mole in 2016 and present mole and said it had to go, THAT DAY xD
So quite unprepared, they removed the whole thing, but it had gotten quite sizeable so I am really upset about the size of the what will be a scar UGH.
~Flash forward to 10 business days of agony waiting for the results :')~
I finally heard back today that it was benign, but it has abnormal cells that could be a precursor for melanoma (a bad bad skin cancer), so they may have to remove even more D: I am REALLY hoping this is not the case though, so think positive for me!
Obviously, I am very happy I was able to take care of this before it became melanoma because the placement of it... oh gosh that would have been terrible.
Anyways, I will have to keep a bandage on this for quite some time to use a healing method that should prevent scarring.
I am going to shoot and share some content again starting today, but I wanted to explain why I will have this band aid in every pic. I don't edit my body in photos, so I would prefer to not try and remove it in every photo, but rather just explain it and get through the healing process!
Lord, I am so ready for 2025... 2024 absolutely kicked my ass so I really have to hope next year is even slightly better :')
Thank you all for reading this!!
