🕑 Added 2025-03-13 12:44:12 +0000 UTCHi! The stunning Lizzy (u/forgotten_Name23) reached out to me on reddit to see if I would illustrate a portrait of her in my style. she also said I could post it, and I thought including a little making of would be fun :)
You can see I start with a rough sketch before refining my lines and adding in color. I didn't save the very first sketch where I was just using a super basic skeleton to get the pose and proportions down. Having one character finished in this style makes it much easier to create others in a similar pose, but nothing will ever make hands easy. If you pay attention, you'll notice I leave the hands until the very end and they're still a little sketchy lol. Also turns out she's blonde so I had to do a little recolor but overall I'm happy with how it turned out :)
