I need guidance
🕑 Added 2025-10-16 01:02:57 +0000 UTCI'm writing this post with shaky hands right now, my heart is overwhelmed with emotions...to see nature of human greed.
Despite all my attempt to stop someone leaked the patreon version, all the result of my hardwork for free and I'm not sure how to proceed with this.
I never talked about it before but the time I started writing this book was at the time when I was at the lowest in my life, I needed a reason to keep going, to give myself a reason to live I started writing and this is also the reason why earlier version of the game had such a bad grammar.
My original english wasn't that bad, but after last year I suffered through a series of event that shook me down to my car, leaving me half broken in the road that's leading to nowhere.
This is also the reason why instead of releasing monthly updates I begin releasing weekly updates since I know that there will be people waiting every week to read my latest updates, this is the reason why I never took any break so I won't feel like useless.
Now when I have slowly started healing, when I finally gathering pieces of me back to make me a whole and my english and writing skill started improving again this has came crashing down on me....I just don't know what to do anymore.
Even the smallest of things affect me in a way only a few can think of, making me think of doing something that cannot be undone, and right now in front of this shock those small things were nothing compared to this.
This the first time I'm opening up to you all, please help me figure out what to do next, please help me figure out my way.

Hey maybe this will seems unsentible or boor. But you are one promissing author with a really good story. That do well each week. It natural that other see you as a menace. No matter what you do (take a pause or continue), don't forget that. They will be more that will to come. And a lot more people that will try to make you stop what you do. In the matter of content if it was me i put a file on itch.io and continue. No mater what you do people will leak your work. The best thing to do is to trust your audience. Even if some will leak your work they read it. At some point they will see that they need to give you some reward for your work. Hope you come up of this pit. Stay stong DaoImm.

First, let me give you a hug. 🫂 I agree with others. Take some time off. Discuss with other authors. They can relate and will support you with true empathy because they can understand the struggle with people who leak and are ungrateful for your hard work. Please don’t dwell on the cruel people in your DMs. They are cowards hiding behind their screen. As soon as you read bad words from someone, delete it if you can. Don’t give them power over u. I hope it helps to know that you’re not alone in struggling with life. Every person you pass on the street is going through something. That includes me and everyone here. If you can, take a day off and go to a beautiful local area where you live to enjoy the beauty of nature or a creation made by people (art, movies, gardens, festivals, events, etc). We cannot control the environment, circumstances and genetics that we are given in life. No matter how bad they are, every human has a right to live and be happy. It’s okay to seek ways to improve however you can. Surround yourself with people who appreciate, respect, and care about you. What we can control is our perspective on life, and the actions we take to live a comfortable and happy life. Do not make any hasty decisions until you have taken into account the people in real life that love you. Even if you’re alone, don’t allow someone else to have power over your life. I know we have less freedom than we think we do, but don’t let that oppress you from the joys of life and relationships u can have with others. You can absolutely live a life you’re satisfied with, no matter the circumstances. Do it while you still can because you never know what may happen to someone you love or to your country. If possible, please seek therapy. It doesn’t help everyone, but at least give it a try to see if it helps you personally. Much love. We see you, man. ❤️
