Marinette stepped into a private room at the penthouse where Gabriel was working at a desk.
“Miss Dupain-Cheng the work you’ve done has been truly exceptional, the launch of Gabriel+ couldn’t have happened without you. However, your contract is coming up. You have until after the show to decide whether to resign and extend your contract or go your own way.”
Marinette was shocked at the news, “G-go my own way?”
Gabriel gave an assuring nod, “Of course as I promised I will provide myself as a reference for when you pursue your dream of being a fashion designer. The choice is up to you.”
As Marinette left the room her anxiety started to surface.
Go her own way? It seemed impossible to think about going back to being a normal girl after experiencing what being a model was like. Going to the privacy of the bathroom she confided to Tikki, “Oh Tikki, I don’t know what I should do. Do I continue being a model or do I go back to being a normal girl? I want to be with Adrien, but being a model is so hard, I don’t know how Adrien does it. I never wanted to be a model, I want to be a fashion designer that’s where my real passion is.”
Tikki just giggled sweetly “Only you can decide what’s best for you Marinette! Listen to your heart!”
Marinette sighed, “You’re right Tikki. At least I’ve got until the show tonight to make my choice.” Marinette started to leave the bathroom before she spotted herself in the mirror. She had to giggle looking herself over, “I’ve definitely gotten fatter.” Her butt was filling her pink capris to the limit, her pants were super tight. She lifted her white top over her stomach, untucked her belly from her pants, and wobbled the stretch marked belly that hung down over her thighs “I’m over 400 pounds, I never thought I’d get this big.” Tikki floated around her, “You’ve done an amazing job fattening up Marinette!” Marinette giggled, her fleshy cheeks turned up in a smile “I know Tikki, I’m a proud fat girl now!”
Marinette tucked her big belly back into her pants and happily waddled out while pushing out her stomach in pride.
Later on at the fashion show Adrien, Marinette, and Chloe were in a dressing room clad in their clothes, the clothes were themed after Ladybug and her allies, honoring them after saving New York City. Adrien was in a three piece suit consisting of black pants, a green button down shirt, a black vest, black tie and a black coat, with a black cat ear headband on his blonde hair. Marinette and Chloe were both in ladybug and bee themed dresses respectively.
The dresses definitely showed the true extent of their girthy obesity, Marinette and Chloe looked like bloated balls of fat. The dresses were sleeveless and showed their enormous upper arms and the hems of their skirts came down their bloated thighs and ended at their dimpled knees, allowing their cankles and fat feet to be seen in ladybug and bee themed shoes. Marinette brushed her hand through her pig tailed hair, “I look amazing.”
Chloe however huffed, getting to her feet she declared “This sucks!” Marinette and Adrien looked at her in surprise, “I’m a superhero I shouldn’t be modeling or any of this ridiculous nonsense! I’m quitting after this is all done!”
Adrien and Marinette were surprised by her declaration. “I-if that’s what you want to do, then you should go for it,” Adrien smiled. Marinette was even more surprised to see Chloe's dedication to being a hero, it was even stronger than her dedication to being a model. She lowered her head, it made her feel incredibly guilty. Chloe was right, she was a superhero with a mission, not a model.
Nathalie and Audrey opened the door, for the occasion Nathalie was wearing a long black dress and her red and black dyed hair was undone, covering the back of her dress. “We have to do a final weigh in,” said Nathalie, directing the three to a scale.
Marinette stepped on first and the digital read out read 453 pounds. Adrien smiled wide and cheered, “Way to go, nice gains!” Marinette blushed, she was gigantic but never felt more beautiful than after what Adrien had just said, “T-thank you Adrien!”
“My turn!” Chloe moved Marinette off the scale which soared to 445. Chloe shrugged, “Whatever.”
Audrey snapped, “What do you mean whatever? What is with this attitude, you’re fired!” Chloe humphed, “Fine! I never wanted to be a model anyways, I have a much better job now! Now if you excuse me I’m going to call Daddykins so he can book me a flight back home! Come along Sabrina, after I finish my walk we’re leaving,” She smirked at her mother, “I still have an obligation to keep, don’t want to ruin the fashion show!” Audrey steamed and stomped her foot, sending her 600+ body into a jiggling fit "You brat!"
“Looks like I’m last,” Adrien heaved one leather shoe onto the skale, his big portly belly pushing out the front of his suit. The scale went to 482 pounds of lard. “Whoa!” Adrien grinned in delight, his double chin and facial flesh had his neck completely hidden. Marinette’s mouth dropped completely. She knew Adrien had done some serious eating but she had no idea he had turned into such a lard pile. “500 pounds,” Marinette sighed to herself, Adrien was close to 500 pounds, he was close to being 4 times the size he should be. She watched him admire himself in the mirror, pushing his gut out proudly, she was proud of her gains as Adrien was of his girth. She sighed, it would be hard, but she would have to do it.
As Chloe went on stage Marinette talked to Adrien.
“Adrien, there’s something I have to tell you: My contract is up and I’m not going to re-sign.”
Adrien darted his head at her in surprise, “W-what? Why?”
Marinette looked down, she could see the hurt in his eyes, she hoped he could see the pain in her eyes as she said, “Being a model isn’t for everyone. I love the attention and the fame is great, but sometimes I feel like it’s all too much,” her voice choked, “I get so tired Adrien…”
Adrien held his head down solemnly before he was able to say “I understand Marinette, you have to do what’s right for you. It’s your choice and I support it.”
After Chloe came back through the curtain and called it, “Pollen Buzz On!” and turned into Queen Bee who told Sabrina “Follow your Queen!” Sabrina promptly grabbed Chloe’s bags and hurried after her “I’m coming Chl-I mean Queen Bee!”
Marinette smiled, “Looks like it’s my time.” Adrien nodded, “Yeah. You’re a great friend Marinette and I’m so happy I was able to work with you.”
“Me too,” Marinette said as she took to the catwalk. Taking in the flashing photos and cheers and loud music she smiled. She remembered what she had told Chloe. She had done it, this was enough. They were going to use her image after she left, she did all she could. She was proud that she was going to glamorize obesity and become a role model.
Adrien though watched and had a frown on his round face. Talking to Plagg who sat in his pocket he said, “I can’t believe both Chloe and Marinette are gone now.“ “Well that just means there’s more food for the both of us!” Plagg said rather greedily as he ate a block of camembert. “Yeah, but it’s just…” He looked at the smiling Marinette and said “I’m really going to miss her,” feeling lonely.
After Marinette came back it was Adrien’s time to shine and he did so, shining like Lucifer in the sky. Meanwhile in the back Nathalie curiously stepped on the scale and was mortified when it came to 200 pounds.
“My Lord,” Nathalie remarked, putting her hand to her pot belly that stuck out obnoxiously prominent in her black dress. “This is the fattest I’ve ever been, I look pregnant.” An embarrassed Nathalie traced her big flabby belly with her hand. “This is all Ladybug and Cat Noir’s fault for making me fat,” She said, picking a donut off the table, “If they gave up thor miraculous I wouldn’t need to become Mayura.”
She scarfed down the donut in three bites and lightly burped.
“Urp. If only they understood.”

“What? You let your contract run out?”
Alya was completely shocked Marinette had done such a thing. “Yeah, you know modeling isn’t easy. I failed a test the other day, I need to set my priorities.”
Alya sighed, “If you say so, but uh, what are you going to do now?”
Marinette blinked “I thought we were going to watch Kitty Section jam?”
Alya smirked, pushed up her glasses, said, “No, I mean about this,” and gently patted Marinete’s enormous belly, the after effect of her modeling career, “Are you going to lose weight?” Marinette giggled at Alya’s belly pat, “No way! I’m still going to be the best pig I can be. Here comes 500 pounds!” Alya grinned wide, “Same! I just touched 300 last night.”
Marinette grinned, looking at how Alya’s pear shape had become even more pronounced with her big bubble butt wobbling with every step. Her arms and double chin were also heftier. Alya's belly was straining the buttons on her shirt and much like Marinette she was breathing deeply and her brown forehead was slick with sweat.
“You look great!” Marinette grinned at her enlarged friend and then also smirked, “I also heard in New York Rena Rouge and Carapace did a great job while Ladybug, Cat Noir, and Queen Bee were in America.” It was Marinette’s way of saying thank you to Alya and Alya grinned back, “You know it Girl, Rena Rouge and Carapace are great partners!”
At the Couffaine houseboat Rose, Juleka, and Luka were jamming while Marinette and Alya watched the gang, eating bowls of ice cream. Luka and Juleka started to steam the opening chords of I Want To Hold Your Hand and Rose began to sing to Juleka,
“Oh s'il te plaît di moi
Que tu me laissera être ton homme
Et s'il te plaît dis moi
Que tu me laissera te tenir la main
Maintenant laisse moi te tenir la main
Je veux te tenir la main!”
Juleka giggled at the declaration and the rest laughed as well. Rose the blonde short stack of the group had achieved a respectable size at 207. She was so tubby now she too had her own double chin and had piled on the belly fat, pushing the stitching of her pink clothes with her obesity. Juleka herself was long past 200 and had expanded her own girth at 250.
Luka smiled at Marinette, “You look happy Marinette” Marinette blushed at the cute boy, “W-well, I just fel like things are going right, like things are really falling into place” Luka asked, “Do you want more ice cream Marinette?” Marinette nodded her head affectionately, “Yes!” “Fudge or carmel toppings?” “Both!”
The girls giggled at Marinette’s gluttony as Luka got up to make her another bowl. As they waited suddenly Alya’s eyes went wide “Whoa! Lila just signed with Gabriel!”
“WHAT?” Marinette grasped the phone.
“Don’t be bemused, it’s just the news! Gabriel has signed the daughter of the Italian Ambassador to France Lila Rossi as the newest model for the Gabriel+ brand, following in the footsteps of Chloe Bourgeois and Marinette Dupain-Cheng! The 500 pound Rossi had this to say.”
The blob of a girl in orange and black said with a gleam on her double chinned face “I’m so happy to be working with Adrien Agreste, I’ll be the best role model I can be!” Adrien had an uncomfortable expression on his face as he sat next to her.
“5-500 pounds? That’s a lie!” She looked up at her friend, “I-I got to go!” Marinette got up and waddled to another part of the ship, passing by Luka who held her bowl. Luka followed her to the hull of the ship where he asked, “Are you okay Marinette?” He sat next to her.
“Oh Luka, what have I done? I abandoned my spot and now it’s been taken by Lila, she’s such a liar she’s going to try something with Adrien I just know it.”
She cried into Luka who stroked her back tenderly, his expression sad and solemn. “Don’t worry Marinette, I’m sure Adrien will be fine. Please don’t cry Marinette, your ice cream will melt.”
She looked up at Luka with red eyes and sniffed. Luka gave her a tissue to which she blew her nose, thanking him “Thank you Luka, you’re always there for me.”
Luka smiled at her, “Always.”

Late at night Adrien was running the paris rooftops as Cat Noir. He jumped from roof to roof, an angry black cat. How could his father do this? “He’s always doing things like this and I have no say in the matter.” Cat Noir grumbled, his near 500 pound body causing roofs to shake as he landed and darted faster than a person his size should. His blubber wobbled and sloshed in his black cat suit, his tail flying behind him. His butt shook, his chest flopped, and his stomach slapped around. Adrien had been proud of his new size, of being nearly 500 pounds of blubber, but Gabriel's signing Lila had dampened what should have been something glorious
“Lila of all people too, I don’t want to deal with that liar,” Cat continued to grumble, completely unaware she was his father’s agent, both as a spy for Gabriel to keep tabs on Adrien, but also for Hawkmoth to akumatize others.
He then realized something, “Wait, Marinette is nearby. I wonder if she’s doing okay. I know she knows the truth about Lila, she’s as sneaky as a fox.” He darted until he saw her on the patio above her room, laying on a heavy duty sun chair and scarfing down pastries. He smiled and landed before her, “Hello.”
Marinette was startled for a moment, pastry jelly on her lips as she then sighed, “Hello Cat Noir.” Cat Noir saw she was looking sad and sat down at her side, “You look sad. Are you okay? I’m feeling pretty down myself.”
Marinette sighed, offering him a box, “I guess misery loves comfort.” Cat had to laugh, accepting the box he said “Good one, haha,” and started eating with Marinette. Marinette explained to him, “Adrien Agreste is...a really good friend and I know Lila is evil. She’s a monster and I’m worried.” Cat frowns, “Maybe Adrien knows?”
Marinette sighed, “Yeah he does know, he knows she’s a liar, that’s why I feel so bad for him.” Marinette moaned, dropping an empty box. Cat Noir saw how there were two other empty dozens. “Have you been eating all night?” “And all day. I’m so worried I think I ate myself sick.”
Cat stuck a clawed hand on her stomach and felt the bloated volume, Marinette was stuffed to capacity, “Wow, you’re really stuffed.” He slowly rubbed her stomach and Marinette’s stomach grumbled under his touch. She felt herself bloat with gas and sighed at the belly rub, letting out a short *prrrrp!* and not bothering to care. After all, it was just Cat Noir.
Cat Noir had to laugh at the fart, “Haha! Ladybug would never fart like that.” Marinette didn’t blush, but she did laugh, “Hahaha,” it felt nice for Marinette not to keep up airs as the focused leader that she was when she was Ladybug, it felt nice to relax around Cat Noir. She smiled, “I’m just an average girl, just like who Ladybug might be under her disguise. Thank you for the tubby rub Kitty, it feels nice.”
Cat Noi jingled his bell and smiled, “Anything for a lady,” and winked. Marinette sighed, closing her eyes as her enormously stuffed belly was played with under the bright full moon.
“But what about Adrien?” Marinette sighed, her eyes still close. Cat Noir looked away from her belly and said “I...know about his background. He’s gotta be strong to come out of something like that. Missing mother and a controlling father.”
Marinette smiled and said with no determination “Well I’ll stand by him through thick and thin, just like when I was modeling with him. If he’s in trouble he can come to me.” Cat Noir smiled at the encouraging words, “I’m sure he would appreciate that.” He then wobbled the lowest half of her belly where the fresh fat collected “This thing is getting huge.” Marinette giggled, “It is. The truth is, I...want to be as big as Adrien.” “You do?” Cat Noir said, surprised.
Marinette giggled, “I do.” Cat Noir then smiled again, “And I bet he would love to know that too.” He got back up, “Well, I gotta continue my pawtrol.” He went and activated his staff. “Here, take the box” Marinette smiled and said, “Come again if you want to pig out again.”
Cat Noir grinned, “Thanks I just might” and took off. Away from Marinette Cat Noir finished the box, belched *Urp* and rubbed his big belly in his black costume
“Yeah Marinette I just might.”
