Zrgranza-of-Azgdng exhaled slowly through his nose, trying to savor the pleasant tickle of water blasting through the fur of his scalp. It had been a rather long week for him. That wasn’t unusual in itself though; his work could get stressful, the hours could get long, but frankly he relished the stress and challenge of running his little team of engineers, accountants, and salespeople. But . . . it had been a different kind of week. Stressful, yes, and the days were exhausting, but in a very, very different fashion than he was used to.
It all started with that human the office had hired.
Miko had been adorable to start, of course. Cheerful. Eager. Napping constantly. Very insistent on helping, even when they had no idea what to do. The usual human things you heard about humans doing. Zrgranza had never paid overmuch attention to humans or human culture, as cute as they were though. There had been a cultural cross-species business management class in school with a human or two in it, but he hadn’t even known their names. It wasn’t that he didn’t like humans, or didn’t find them interesting, it was more that he thought it was a bit unseemly to be too into them. Management was looking to promote people that were invested in their careers, not workers who just used their paycheck to fund their eclectic hobbies.
He turned the hot water up a bit in the shower, and began lathering a dollop of a new brand of shampoo between his paws. It was supposed to have trace amounts of methyl benzoate in it, just enough for a sensitive nose to pick up without being overpowering. As the steam carried the faint scent up from his chest, let out a happy sigh. The fragrance was actually quite relaxing, and not at all overwhelming like he’d feared it would be.
Overwhelming. That’s the word he’d use to best describe Miko. Always in his office, always asking questions, always underfoot, always . . . too close and with too much touching. He’d mentioned it to Aurgrek-of-Krrngetk in Sapient Resources, to see if it was a “human thing.” Apparently humans were very fond of touching things with soft fur or fluff, and that a certain amount of it was considered normal and healthy.
But it wasn’t “a certain amount of it.” It wasn’t normal. And it wasn’t healthy. It was near constant, intrusive, and borderline indecent. You can only “accidentally” palm someone’s malehood so many times and Zrgranza didn’t care if it was just a human thing, he would only allow that sort of thing maybe another dozen times before he took the matter to Sapient Resources . . . again.
Well, two dozen times. Miko was being very productive, and filing an SR complaint was a one way ticket to never getting promoted again. You have to give paradigm-shifters and trailblazers a little bit of leeway after all. There aren’t hard and fast rules in the world of sales and marketing, so the fact that you shouldn’t grope your direct supervisor was probably just a culture change for him. Besides, Zrgranza was a male Dorarizen in a female Dorarizen’s world. He knew as well as anyone that you didn’t get to climb the corporate ladder without a little bit of over-the-pants fondling. Of course, that it was coming from a human was a bit of a surprise.
Zrgranza started to rinse the lightly fragrant shampoo out of his fur, and was feeling better already. Tomorrow was a new day (figuratively, the station didn’t have day night cycles),and a new chance to be a role model for Miko. Zrgranza would tell him that the touching, long stares from across the break area, and propositions to “handle Zrgranza’s trouser-Jornissian” while biting his lip were, while flattering and appreciated, not conducive to a healthy working relationship.
With a resolute nod he shut off the water and shook himself, spattering the glass walls of the shower stall with fine droplets. “That’ll take care of things.” He muttered, resolute and hopeful.

“Miko, could you step into my office for a quick chat?” Zrgranza keyed his desk intercom, setting a list of client account earning projections aside for the moment. “Sure thing boss!” came his response, enthusiastic as always. Leaning back in his chair slightly, Zrgranza laid out the discussion in his head. He’d invite Miko to have a seat- No. He’d ask Miko to close the door first, then tell him to have a seat. As his supervisor, he’d need to be firm but discrete. The objective wasn’t to call the little human out or make an example of him, just correct a little troublesome bit of behavior.
All 5’6” of the bouncing ball of pink and fur-less energy bounded into his office with a smile on his little face and a stack of reports in his hand. Miko’s chest was heaving, a dead giveaway that he’d run from the far end of the office, just to be there a little bit faster. “You called?” He grinned widely, showing off those cute little dimples of his.
Nodding once, Zrgranza gestured to the two chairs on the far side of his desk. “Indeed. Get the door, would you? And take a seat - it doesn’t matter which one.”
Closing the door, Miko gave the Dorarizen a coquettish look that left him slightly confused. Zrgranza opened his mouth to speak, only to be rendered speechless as a soft, warm bundle of alien climbed into his lap. Wiggling slightly, Miko scooted backwards until his back was pressed gently against the fluffy chest of his supervisor, and let out a contented sigh upon doing so. “You said it didn’t matter which seat I took, so I’m taking yours.” The only response Zrgranza could muster was a half stifled grunt as a butt ground back and forth against some very sensitive equipment.
“M-miko . . .” he stammered quickly, trying to think about cold showers, his upcoming performance review, and anything other than the feel of his rapidly hardening tool being teased through his loose fitting dimije pants. “Miko this is the exact kind of behavior I wanted to talk to you about.” Seizing the human under each arm, he deposited his direct report in on the far side of the desk as they let out a quiet yelp of surprise.
He took a moment to compose himself, trying to re-organize his train of thought. This was much harder than he anticipated for two reasons. One, Miko was making eyes at him like a begging pup, and two, he was having a hard time not picturing the human in his underwear. His brow furrowed. It was an entirely reasonable tactic if he was nervous about public speaking, but now was not the time for it. “Miko . . . while I understand that there are certain human needs and wants you must feel- perfectly normal needs and wants for humans- this is a professional environment. It’s not appropriate for you to keep making contact with me . . . especially contact that could be misinterpreted as being sexual.” He lowered his voice substantially, half whispering the last part.
Miko’s expression instantly changed from one of pleading innocence to shock. “Oh my goodness, Mr. Zrgranza-of-Azgdng, I’m so sorry. I had no idea that my behavior with you could be accidentally misinterpreted as being sexual.” Zrgranza let out a quit sigh of relief. He was legitimately worried there for a moment. A full on confrontation would almost certainly have gotten SR involved, and no-one wanted that. “It was never my intention to act in a way that could be potentially interpreted that way,” Miko continued. “My actions were always intended to be overtly and clearly sexual in nature. I want you to fuck me.”
The little human beamed ear to ear, and wiggled back and forth energetically in his seat. “The sooner the better.”
Zrgranza just stared dumbly at him. There were no words that came to mind.
“Aaaaand I’m pretty sure you want to fuck me too.” Miko nodded towards the rising tent to Zrgranza’s pants.
Finally, his mouth began producing sounds, even if his brain hadn’t quite caught up yet. “B-be that as it may, using explicit language like that runs counter to the company-wide culture we’re trying to uphold. It’s also not very professional.”
Zrgranza’s brain definitely had not caught up with his mouth, and he could only stare like a dumbstruck statue at the frighteningly forward twink in his office. He couldn’t believe the sounds that were coming out of his mouth. The room was starting to feel very small, and very warm. He adjusted his collar slightly, trying to get a bit more air as he began to contemplate the words he just said. Again and again they raced through his mind, but he couldn’t find a single mote of dis-ingenuousness to them.
Miko just shrugged. “Okay, sure. So, for the sake of keeping things professional . . . should be book a conference room and head in there, or can this just be a one-on-one? I’d do a walk and talk, but I think that’s a bit kinky to start . . .” His brow wrinkled slightly, as he said it, clearly deep in thought. “Ehh, have to reserve a conference room at least 2 hours in advance, and I’m not waiting that long to find out what you’ve been hiding in those baggy trousers. I can’t believe they let you wear what are basically sweatpants as business formal.”
Miko peeled his shirt off in a single fluid motion by now, revealing a lean, cream colored torso whose perfection was only marred by two little pink nubs. Zrgranza caught sight of faint abs as his arms went above his head, the sight of so much smooth hairless flesh making his tool twitch with apprehension. With sound that was a cross between a mewl and a moan, Miko stretched his arms above his head and flicked his shirt over the back of the empty chair.
“Now, lemme see that di- . . . err . . . funstick?” Miko made a face, and then shook his head. “Nope, just feels weird to say. Lemme see that dick!”
Zrgranza had seen a documentary anout an exotic, alien, predatory feline on the jungle moon of Praxis IV, a downright super-predator. These things had sub-millisecond reaction times, perfect night-vision, hearing that could track prey by the sound of its terrified heartbeat, and claws that not only could shred plate steel, but were also dripping deadly neurotoxin. It was always pitiful, in those documentaries, how they’d show a single wounded Brost-Pig, trying desperately to escape what was certain doom. The super-predator would lazily approach it, and with a single deft strike slay it as if killing were as easy as turning off a light-switch.
In this moment, Zrgranza felt a great deal of kinship for those pitiful prey creatures. Because Miko was moving towards him, looking at him the same way that super-predator moved towards that Brost-Pig. With a single, fluid snatching motion his trousers were around his knees, and the cool air of his corner office kissed his bare malehood.
Miko froze for a moment, and cocked his head to the side. “That . . . is gonna be so fun to play with.” A broad grin spread across his face as he fell to his knees. Zrgranza scooted back away from his desk, to give him a bit of room to work with. Soft, warm hands found his heavy sack, and dexterous fingers gently caressed his pointed tip, eliciting both a sharp inhale and a bead of clear precum from the canid. “Miko, I-” His words were lost in the half stifled moan that rumbled out of his mouth as his tool disappeared down Miko’s throat.
Zrgranza’s wasn’t the only moan though, and as the newly-hired human began bobbing up and down on the long, thick, bright red shaft, sounds of undeniable pleasure escaping him as well. He made sure to give Zrgranza a show of it as he pulled it back on with agonizing slowness.
A shadow of concern crossed his face, as Zrgranza was still slack jawed, staring blankly at him. “ . . . should I be getting in touch with a recruiter, and finding a new job?” Miko scratched his the back of his neck awkwardly looking away. The silence dragged on for several seconds, until Zrgranza reached forward and punched a single claw into the intercom.
“This is Zrgranza-of-Azgdng, one of the project managers. I’m going to need a conference room on 6 during lunch tomorrow.”
