At least Turnip doesn't cover toooo much of the emotional bad sides of this exitinction level war. Just enough to remind us its a thing, really. After the 2nd wave, which ran its full month onslaught, im pretty sure there are a mind-boggling number of orphans and widows in the world. Although the entire cities wiped out wholesale does lower that count a bit prolly. If this story had a darker tone, it could have gotten/still get quite depressing.

Everyone in the comments is worried about the sacred tree grove. Chill out, Tulip surely hasn't forgotten about it. Those trees are wortless to demonkind. It's greedy humans that where after them. Hence the grove can wait a day or two, till Ben/Thera and maybe Bloom can solve the issue.

How is the forest they were taking care of gonna fare at this point? will they gate to go back and be guardians of it or will they abandon it till the third wave is over. Alternatively ben could make a massive gate and bring the entire forest!
