Patron Exclusive (obviously): Quarantine Haircut

Seriously though this is just me cutting my hair, feel free to skip it if that sounds like it's not your preferred kind of weird.

Actually just before all this craziness started, a few months ago, I cut my own hair out of sheer laziness because I just didn't want to make a trip to the barber's. The trick is to get used to using your fingers and pulling up on tufts of hair to cut things at a roughly constant length. With the volume of hair you had before, you could have gotten some good warm-up practice doing it before you began to diligently take it all off manually. Consider trying this next time you're faced with a similar situation; it's not that hard, and as you said, you can always take more off, so it's very safe to just start by trying to keep your hair at a fairly long, but maintained, length.
I got a set of clippers in 1985 and have been cutting my hair with them ever since.
