[EARLY ACCESS] Mind and Magic 0.07
🕑 Added 2023-12-29 16:20:53 +0000 UTCGot everything done, had to do some changes to the content of this update, since it could've taken me more time than I'd like to admit.
I'm talking about a personalized menu (at least for the Liz afternoon event), it's something that's been on my mind for a long time and could've started implementing here... but I decided that it's a better idea to save for the next Anniversary Update (2025).
This because it would be like blue balling the players, having a stylish menu but only in one event would be a little infuriating (at least for me it'd be xD).
CHANGELOG:
PLEASE REMEMBER TO USE THE BUGFIX TO BE ABLE TO START THE NEW QUESTS!
- Added a BUGFIX to make 0.06 save files that already unlocked the facility compatible with 0.07's quests (Talk to the chicken near the washing machine).
- Added the quest: "Controlling Bea (I)"
- Added the remake of Liz afternoon talk event
- Added 2 convos with Liz at afternoon
- Reworked Bea's sprite
- Fixed the game crashing in one of Liz classes
- Fixed some typos
- Fixed other small bugs
- Other small changes to some of the art
(Leaving aside some minor fixes, the only difference with the Beta is the adittion of some food props).
AXL'S COMMENT:
This update is the start of the content for the facility girls, we'll have Bea, Audrey and one new main girls from there for a while. I'm not sure how interested you guys are in it; at this point I'm corcerned that there may exist that one guy that only wants content from Alice/Liz...
If you're that guy, the game must go on. I'll try to make the new girls likeable... or at least hot.
In any case, I'll post a poll for you guys to choose what we're having on 0.08 (I think I'm gonna add the option for a "wholesome" event in every version since those are really fun to do).
Oh, by the way, now we have a Linux port, that's the only other plataforms that RPGM actually let's me create a build to.... Techinally the Mac one works too but I need to have a Mac to do it (And no way I'm buying a Mac just for this).

Yep, that's what I was aiming for with Liz, a "sane" person having to deal with a horny guy that she needs/can't get rid of; and she's not exactly supposed to sound condescending but tired instead, she's doing her best to get the MC to learn something after all, she even gave her body to give him "motivation" xD And hey, nice to see some people like her bc of her personality (mostly it's the design that sells her).

@Axl If my vote counts for anything, I think Liz's personality is just fine as it is. If anything, she's been my favorite so far, but maybe I have a soft spot for the nerds. She doesn't read as smug to me either - just a little exasperated with the protagonist's horniness (and she's been more than accommodating to him). Maybe because she's used to info dump lore, she seems condescending?

I think you'll be happy yo hear that Audrey's remake will be on the poll for 0.08! As for the likeability of the girls that is completely on the players (I'm pretty sure that someone could be into the most horrible person as long as she's hot xD) And hey, we here love that gap between her normal self and hypnotized Liz lmao

Audrey best girl! ;) I don't think every girl should be likable, in fact, it would be better if one(or a few) are strictly unlikable ^^ And Liz isn't that nice either way, she's a pretty smug and condescending hoe.
