MaM News (May, 2022)
🕑 Added 2022-05-31 15:28:31 +0000 UTCFinally, the work is almost done and I just need to program and polish the in-game events, I've already exported all the necessary pictures and now it's all typing and testing. I'll give a recap of all what's coming into the next uptade and some sneak peeks of how the new art looks, along with the new mechanics and other stuff.
Spoilers ahead so if you want to expierience the new content when the game is released just wait a bit, it'll be released in June
New characters:
- Liz, Cyrillia and Aubrey are coming in the next version along with the introductory storyline.
- Cyrillia's Sprite is ready to go.
- The one for Liz is in half done and the one for Aubrey is in progress.
New events:
There are 4 new events for 0.02 with some more options for the one in the first release
- First of all now you can take a little bit further the groping with Alice, being able to make her cum. (Already programmed in the game).
- Now you can also give her a visit at night, but maybe she's a little busy sleeping to welcome you. (Already programmed in the game).
- Now as a hangout event for Alice, you can go play some videogames with her, maybe if you're a little bit too salty about losing, you can use some of your other abilities to get some advantage.
- And as you get more control over Alice, now you can make her masturbate... maybe she'll be more comfortable without those clothes
- One of the new characters is also getting one hangout event this update, but don't worry with Liz's help you'll be able to put herself and other girls even deeper.
New mechanics:
- Added questlog (The plugin is already added and all I need to do is type, a lot)
- Hangout events: Now you can you spend some time with the girls just in case you look for something else than just lewds (I renamed them from love events to hangout events)
- Time and routes: Now the time passes in MaM! And depending on it the characters will be in one place or another. Of course along with this, in the player's room you'll have your own bed to rest whenever you're tired (or just skip time).
- Skip Text: A little thing for when you want to speedrun the game(please don't do that ;-;). Press Ctrl and no more dialogues, just horny.
Adjustsments:
- Some of the maps have gotten descriptive text to make them feel more alive. such as Alice's room, the player's room and the library.
- Some other have gotten a little redesign and extra part such as the forest and the library
- Updated script: I changed some of the dialogues in 0.01 so some things make sense with the future storyline, along with all the grammar errors, I attached the error sheet in this post in case you want to check it (thanks to Confuzzled for providing it!).
- I'm working on adding an extra room for in-game settings (such as making 0.01 save files compatible with 0.02, increasing walk speed, etc.)
With this I can say that this is the last monthly news before the update, maybe I'll write a little dev blog to announce that the game is in test phase but this should be all for 0.02, again, thanks for supporting the game all this time, I wanna make sure it's worth the wait.
Maybe it took a while but balancing this, college, social life, and the side projects while taking care of myself sure is hard.
