Dev Build - The Camera Adds 10,000 Pounds
🕑 Added 2024-03-01 00:02:29 +0000 UTCHey all! It's gonna be a bit of a smaller update this month since I haven't had much free time to spend on this lately. However, I did manage to get a bunch of new camera features completed for this build.
There's now a camera settings menu that gives you more options including a per-camera field of view slider, depth of field to blur out the background, and a few silly camera filters. You can now switch to different cameras in this menu or cycle through them by pressing Tab.
I also added a free camera mode that can move anywhere in the map. Control it by holding right mouse and move it with WASD. You can also press F to make it follow the character. Additionally, you can eat in first person mode. Just click and hold on a food item and it will float to your face for consumption.
I fixed a couple minor bugs too, including one where objects weren't vibrating with heavy footsteps. Now the thumping/quaking effects should happen at large sizes in every camera mode. Lastly, I added even more hair styles and some options for different pupils in the character customizer.
I think that's all for now. I'm still figuring out how to handle the remaining sizes between skinny and blob. Of course it's proving to be trickier than I thought, but I hope to have something to show for it in the next update.

Oh, that's right. I had to disable the free cam in the Snackrooms because it caused too many problems. Glad you figured that out!

I figured out what was going on. The free cam doesn't turn on in the Snackrooms, but it works perfectly on all the other maps! Thanks!

You can cycle through camera modes by pressing Tab, or clicking the left/right buttons inside the camera menu. Pressing F toggles whether the free cam follows the character so it won't do anything outside of free cam mode. Hope that helps!

I am, undoubtedly, an idiot, but I cannot find how to turn on the new free camera mode. Hitting F doesn't seem to do anything for me. Any help is appreciated. Keep up the great work and I can't wait for the next update!

I agree. I dont know if itll make it into the next build but I want to make the fat face/limbs option work on the smaller sizes too. I will need to redo some stuff on the head model to get that working but that's def planned.

yay more arm fat!! is it possible to add more chins though? A beautiful jawline warping into something completely unrecognizable is so hott.

Thanks, yeah I could add some sloshy noises once she gets to a certain size.

Also I wanna add, can there be an option select where the fat will go? For example Like if i selected to only have a fat ass and no where else, and to only have a fat belly and no where else. like those options?

I'm going to post a WIP update within the next few days, but a new build will be a little farther off. I've been slowed down by some annoying technical limitations, but I'm still making progress. I'm excited to show it off soon!

Haha yeah, destructible objects would be fun to have in general. I want to do something like that at some point and a car would be a good candidate for it. Glad you're enjoying it!

Holy cow this project gets better every time i see it. The beach map and huge sizes got me thinking what if there was some sort of vehicle prop? Wouldnt have to be drivable or anything but the idea of feeding her and watching her bloated ass roll over a car sounds hot

Played the update, I like the new camera systems and the ability to eat in first person. I'm very excited for next update I hope you are able to figure out more in between stages. And also, Happy Birthday blobygon!

Very nice, i love the free camera mode and the new pupils. would you ever think of adding food stains at the mouth after having eaten a bunch? there could be something in the interaction Menu for cleaning it off.

I should make a dedicated setting for that, but for now weight loss is also determined by the weight factor slider in the feeding tube menu. If you set it to 0 she wont lose weight either.

Great addition! Although another simple feature I think would be of benefit would being able to enable/disable weight loss.
