3D Scene Progress.
Various model and scene improvements, particularly to some early textures.
Improved the wall-hiding effect with a new shader.
Battle progress.
An animation now plays when a card is dropped from your deck. (Previously, it used the same animation as a discarded card)
Worked on new health bar sprite animations. Check the gif above for a small WIP!
Victory screen design WIP. (Preparing for custom artwork)
Music progress.
Completed scenario BGM "Lin Hu Theme" (Tentative name).
Astatos
Chapter II Progress
As both writers were unavailable this month, we shifted focus to polishing and testing a portion of Chapter II.
Several typos and bugs have been fixed, along with some plans made to improve sections of the scenario next month.
Sub-chapter names have been finalised along with translations of non-story text such as new Hero Card descriptions and UI elements.
The CG for sub-chapter 2-1-5 has been implemented.
Planned Interlude topics for Chapter II.
Cascade Trial Progress.
Dungeon generation working.
Navigation with both keyboard and mouse.
Player character animations implemented.
Created design documents for player artwork.
Added 12 new player titles related to Hero Cards appearing in Chapter II.
Monthly hero skin artwork progress.
Note: Development on the BEEK 2.0 update is still ongoing, however we had to prioritise some other tasks this month and will get back to it soon.
Next month we plan get more programming work done on Lin & Partners as well as the Astatos' Cascade Trial game mode. The writers will continue to work on the remaining scenario scripts for Astatos Chapter II as well!
