If only yall had a woman with yall to dissect scenes like that 🤣. On the surface level yall not getting it and why Lori said and did what she did in terms of them saving the baby and how she changed her mind on bringing a kid into this world. She throw up the pills, and also Rick had to give her perspective multiple times when she wanted to put Carl out his misery and wanted to abort the baby. And at the end of the day she would’ve died anyway. They didn’t have tools to just save Lori and terminate the baby if something went wrong. She carried it for all these months why wouldn’t she sacrifice herself for her baby. Also if they didn’t take it out it would’ve died and possibly turned inside Lori

Lori would’ve died anyway. Without hospitals or medical intervention a lot more women would die in childbirth than they do now. The baby had to come out, Lori wasn’t able to push the baby out so it would’ve killer her eventually when the baby died inside her.

Probably IMO the saddest episode in the series. Like or hate her it was tragic. The part that sucks more is Shane was just proven correct from when he said “I don’t think you can keep them safe” to Rick referring to Lori and Carl back in season 2.

Something went wrong when she went into labor . They had to get the baby out because she wasn’t even dilated. If the baby would’ve died inside her she was going to be ripped apart . Even just removing the baby still would’ve caused her to bleed out. So , she made the decision to save the baby .

Even though I didn't like lori at all, I loved the scene between her and Carl, but Andrew Lincoln (Rick) really threw himself into that final scene. (Emmy performance)🔥 Glad that they put that flashback between Carl and Rick, came full circle of having to put down his own mother! Fun fact: Apparently, Andrew told Sarah Wayne Callies (Lori) not to show up on set so she watched from the trailer. He was so into that scene to the point that after they wrapped up filming, Sarah had to hug him and tell him, "Look at me. I'm right here.I'm alive! Rick and Lori are over, but Andy and Sarah are just fine."
