Full Of It #267 - Paranormal Activity
🕑 Added 2023-10-28 23:00:01 +0000 UTCParanormal Activity is an American found-footage horror franchise that managed to do the seemingly impossible after an absolute slew of shite was released following the explosion of The Blair Witch Project. It took a style of filmmaking that felt like it was a one-time, lightning-in-a-bottle, could-never-work-again moment and turned it on its arse. Like most horror franchises they squeezed every last drop out of the concept and dumped it in the toilet, so I'm only covering the first 3 movies in this pod. Expect heavy spoilers.

Great pod as always, I think it was impressive the amount of suspense some of these low budget movies were able to build but the part where all the cupboards open in 2 just makes me laugh lol I dunno why. For Halloween I was watching through a lot of the old horror classics- Jaws, Halloween, The Thing, The Fly etc. what are your favourite old horror movies?

I've been trying to get my mates to watch p.a. 1 for ages, so I feel very vindicated by this pod- it's an absolute masterpiece! I second a pod about annihilation as I've been thinking about it ever since I first watched.
