Happy new year! Short two weeks vacations notice, I'll should back soon just wait!
🕑 Added 2024-12-31 20:22:02 +0000 UTCHey Everyone, I hope you are all having a great new years eve or new year already depending of where you are in the world.
It's been a very rough year for me away from keyboard. My content is kind of my haven to return to and well, just have fun learning and doing it and bringing these horny ideas to life, but I won't deny I slacked a lot on a bunch of things.
There's content I promised here literally YEARS ago by now. And I haven't been able to deliver for many reasons. I also notice every time I promise something, something seems to happen to prevent me to deliver it, so I try to promise things less often and just deliver something without much notice because of that ^^:
I wanted to deliver 3 more models today and I couldn't. (Asuka, Nina updates and Kasumi's Arho port). Last minute bugs and glitches.
I wanted to deliver 2 more animations today, and I couldn't finish them. (Ashley and Rise's animations). Sound editing and re-animating scenes, damaged files, hours and hours of work wasted. Even the voice actors I commissioned for my animations are starting to wonder what ever happened to those u.u
It's very frustrating, I always did my best to avoid burn out, and since I enjoy doing this stuff so much I never thought I could face such a thing myself, but it's coming and I notice it's not actually from making too much content or over focusing on it. But actually because I just am not able to do it because just something happens all the time and the frustration just rises and rises. And it's not something I just can go away for a time and sort out, is just life in general, unstable buildings to live on, family health, unsafe environments, it's just something beyond my control that always seem to happen all the time.
I may look for a cat or something to drain away any bad vibe or curse post upon me or something lol.
Another thing I noticed is that last year was the first year I didn't even got to play a single game all year, that was an alarm for burn out if there was any since I only seemed to find joy on doing blender stuff, and I still do, but everything else feeling like a waste of time shouldn't be the case. Thankfully Tekken 8 came to my rescue this year (also a bit of Persona 3 reload) Fun is back on the menu and interest on characters is again in an all time peak.
if you been following me for a while, you may be aware that I take a short vacation every January, specifically just 2 weeks disconnecting from everything. It's gonna be the same next couple of weeks so don't be alarmed by the lack of content.
Promises Promises, these are not those... next I'll share my goals for next year:
I want to focus less on models and go back on doing animations more often again, this year I focused on updating and sharing models WAY too much, I originally made the models just so I could make content with them, and by now I have so many models I just don't make content with.
I will change the tiers next year, specifically for models. With patreon new feature to "sell" posts, I will just straight out change the DM format for specific models to just selling them in a global post. I think this is the best solution to that.
You may notice I never delivered the Black Cat poll renders. Well there's a reason for that, recently there had been a couple of mutuals affected by DMCA take downs for using Black Cats model, both in the past and just during the time I was working on those renders. This had happened before and I am not well informed about it so until I am 100% sure this won't be an issue for this account. I should not be using that character or sharing that model. I need to be more careful about the characters selection because of that, especially before promoting them on polls. Is the same reason I prevent from using Mingtengdoh (you know who) models anymore.
Focusing only on Tekken models until I done with them will speed up my model development.
Animations to deliver
Rise valentines & Takemi's test. I need to focus ONLY on those two next month so I don't deviate from them anymore. No more loops, no models development, until I finish them, is the only way. Again not a promise, but a goal. after that we see were we will go from there. (Lili in the dessert remake and Haru's still in the mix for options after those... years man).
Finally thank you so much for staying with me in this very rough year. You have no idea to have your support during struggling times, your kind words and patience means the world to me as you have not only gave me your trust but also your faith and that's invaluable and honestly, quite the ego burst :3
Content creators like me have a tendency to get burn out and just go away, but I enjoy doing this and just not having the chance to do as much as I can is frustrating, but shouldn't be my downfall.
So here's hoping we all get what we want next year, a safer world, and the freedom to be as horny as we can during our off time and let those creative juices (literally) flow >:3
Much love to you all Mokujinh, see you next year in the woods!
