I'm BACK!
🕑 Added 2024-11-08 14:32:29 +0000 UTCHello everyone, all issues have been somewhat solved in my end, at least enough for me to have time to sit and work on things I enjoy again without being overwhelmed by real life lol.
A lot of projects were paused because this so I will continue with these, one of them that I actually wanted to release for halloween was a Ashley animation I teased a while ago, spooky stuff turned into something more lewd and well, maybe even funny? here are some screenshots, I rendered it on Blender 4.2 so it stil not very optimized and the light and environment still need some work.
This also made me realize the default game rig for Ashley's hair is a mess u.u
Now that there's no "deadline" for this project I can take my time fixing some minor details, I made this intro using Ashley's and the Regenerator actual In game animations, the problem was that the game animations are set to 60fps, rendering an animation on 60fps in blender will heavily increase the render times, since well, 60 fps obviously doubles the frames needed to be rendered (as my usual framerate for my animations are 30fps), and for reference each frame usually takes 14 to 20 seconds to render depending of the details in each scene, so you can calculate how many hours it takes to render a 30 second clip from that, yep, that's my reality right now. So I have to be smart when setting these animations, reducing the animations frame rate can be tricky and could lead to some mistakes and glitchy looking behavior, so yeah, gotta work on that lol.
I will work on an update on her model to give her a better hair rig so it'll respond better to phyisics as well, but at the moment this intro clip (32 sec) is done, I still need to work on the next scene.
Other ongoing projects I will work on this week.
Rise's animation
Xiaoyu's model
Planned model updates: Lili (just a quick fix) and Asuka's (adding new outfits)
Planned model releases: Rufus Shinra and hopefully Xiaoyu's if she's finished this month!
Yukari's model, need new texture work and rigging work.
I'm just glad I'm back to work and thank you all who stayed with me all this time, it's all thanks to you I am able to even be here and do this even after having those real life issues, your support makes it all so much easier for me to be able to come back and do what I enjoy doing here, thank you! <3
