BTS: Animation projects status updates July/August 2024
🕑 Added 2024-08-10 21:10:10 +0000 UTCHello everyone, I will be updating you on the current status on some projects I'm working on this month
First is the Rise valentine's animation
For this one I decided to go ahead and add a bit of an intro, I haven't fully animated it yet, but I will have something in a few days.
I also decided to add a quick POV shot because why not?
Anyway this project is going smoothly and I hope to focus more on it this week so I can finally finish it.
Takemi and foreigners buds
Another short project I did a few months ago on a whim was this Takemi and foreigners short loop, there's not much to it other than what you see here. I only need to edit audio to it and I hope to have it release it pretty soon. (ignore the blue skin is just a normal texture being selected on the viewport lol)
Asuka Langley at the club?
Another started project is an Asuka langley short loop, haven't started animating it yet, just posed it to get the general idea of it. It'll be another loop. I will need to finish her facial expressions update to actually start this, dunno how I will approach sound for this project having so many commissioned audio for unfinished projects It may just add to the pile. I may just go with some voice packs I bought before Gumroad decided to go anti NSFW. So no dialogue for this one.
Unamed Tifa animation
A a way to "test" my new Tifa model, I started another project with a similar direction to the Asuka one, pose first and go from there with references. Haven't animated anything yet, just posed the models.
Sae private lawyer, and private services.
This one is long overdue, I animated a wip a while ago and had CinderDryad do some audio for it.
Currently I need to update the rigs for Blender 4.1 as I started this project in 3.6, I am using many new tools and I feel like I can take advantage of them instead of going back on 3.6 to finish this.
I can also just replace the models and give them their respective animations to their newer versions, I will try to make this as good looking as possible, some of these old "thugh" models I used on this are pretty rough (same ones used for Makoto's bad end)
Finally there's an Ashley animation of about 1 minute and a half on the works too, I basically did the ending scene first, then I wanted to create the scenario that lead to it. While I was lurking through the game files for resources, I found a way to rip the actual game animations, this peaked my interest since it's technically "easy" to port any humanoid animation to my models thanks to the autorig pro tools
here's a sample of what I mean: https://x.com/MokujinH/status/1803736917051142513/
So I need to animate that intro, plus another lewd scene, I already have Cynder's audio for it so that's a good starting point
I will update you on other upcoming projects soon! :)

Yes that's the "long" project called "Takemi's tests", this one is just a few seconds short loop

I thought there was another takemi animation. Was the foreigner one the one planned?
