“Kevin, Baihe! Come with me!”
“Huh? What?”
“Hey!”
I grabbed Baihe and Kevin’s hands and dragged them along with me as we walked beside Henrietta and my brother. Jack was mostly silent as Henrietta talked. He’s never had good charisma with these things. So I’ll have to give him a little push.
Good thing I’m everyone’s favorite newbie. I’ve made sure to get a good reputation in this city, so let’s try this.
“Hello, everyone! It is as Henrietta said. We’re making a guild alliance!” I said. “As a member of my brother’s guild, I’ll do my best to support your guild with everything I can. So please count on me!”
“It’s Anna!”
“Jack’s little sister!”
“Oh, right, she’s part of his guild!”
“Now that changes everything!”
“I heard she singlehandedly killed an Archdemon Vessel. Is that true?”
“Yeah, she’s an incredible super rookie who already reached S Rank in just a couple of months since her awakening!”
“I’ve heard that several Constellations are interested in her, like dozens!”
“She’s a big celebrity, and unlike her brother, she’s very kind.”
“Didn’t you hear? She also healed the Hunter Association chairman from his debilitating curse. Over the past week, he has been rapidly recovering and might soon regain his full strength!”
“Some have even begun calling her a Saint.”
Wow, I was super popular, holy moly!
“I’ll do my very best for everyone, so please, I hope you can accept me and my brother, and my friends. Baihe here, she’s a sweet girl who is very strong! And Kevin is our friend too. You all love him, right?”
“Oh, Kevin!”
“If she’s his friend, then I guess it’s fine.”
“I wonder how he feels about this, though?”
“Does that matter? Just focus on what’s in front of you, dude.”
“Anna will be part of our guild? Kyaaaaaah!”
“Hell yeah!”
“We’ll have a literal celebrity walking around? No way!”
Did they see me as a bigger celebrity than even their guild master?
Damn, I don’t know if this is just my actions or my super high Charm Stat acting.
Or my Privileges.
Wait, no, let’s seal the deal.
I quickly put my hands together into a heart shape with my fingers and placed them on my chest while winking at everyone.
“I love all of you guys! Let’s work together from now on!”
My power over Love manifested as my aura turned into many little pink hearts floating around me.
These hearts spread through the entire crowd and beyond, making everyone amazed by the light show.
And, well.
“UUOOOHHHHH!”
The crowd exploded with awe and happiness, raising their hands as if they were my fans all along.
Am I really a Hunter or an Idol? These powers are scary.
But as long as they keep people happy.
“Big bro, now’s your chance!” I said. “Say something nice to them and try to, I don’t know, sound like you regret your bad attitude before. You’ve got a terrible reputation, after all!”
“So you know,” my brother sighed. “Okay, I’ll try.”
My brother stepped forward, looking nervous, but he quickly calmed down, looking as expressionless as ever.
Damn it! I think I know why he always makes that face. It’s not that he’s just emotionless. That’s the face he makes when he’s nervous!
“Brother! Your face! Try to act nicer, smile!”
“Smile?”
He looked back at the crowd as I called them to give him attention.
“And now my brother has a few words to say, so could you listen to him, pretty please?”
I quickly waved my hand at him, giving him a “Charming Aura” using my powers, which seemed to stick with him.
He was actually very handsome and good-looking, but his gloominess and expressions always soured that for people.
Although he still had some fans, and he definitely had the appearance of a top model.
So, with that, yes, there it is!
“Everyone, I know and am fully aware that I’ve not been a good person before,” he spoke, suddenly sounding much more passionate and emotional than ever before.
“Oooh?”
“Jack?”
“He can speak like that, huh?”
“Oh my gosh, isn’t he handsome?”
My brother grabbed his chest, looking genuinely pained, perhaps a bit too exaggerated. That’s the effect my “high charm” aura gives him.
“And I am genuinely sorry. I wasn’t in a good place back then. My parents were dead, my sister was in a coma, I was scraping by barely, trying to make a place in this harsh world, fighting with every tooth and nail. Every day I thought I would die in a dungeon, but I knew I couldn’t. I had my little sister in a hospital, and I knew only I could save her.”
“So that’s why he was like that?”
“I can’t believe it. I’m crying!”
“Jack, he’s actually a good guy, isn’t he?”
“Uwaaah!”
“It does feel like he’s speaking with much more emotion than before. Is this really him and not a paid lookalike actor?”
“And that’s why,” my brother continued, “I acted the way I did. Now that my sister is back and she has helped me so much, I want to follow her words and try to do better myself. I’ll use my strength not just for my own goals, but also to help people as much as I can. I love Henrietta. She has changed my life as well, and I want to be a father our child can be proud of.”
As he finished speaking, everyone was flabbergasted.
He did it!
“Maybe he’s not that bad.”
“I mean, yeah! He was never a bad guy! I told you guys!”
“Uwaaaah! You’re so lucky, guild master! Jack is so handsome!”
“And she’s so pretty too! Can you imagine their child? It will be the prettiest baby in existence!”
“Wooow!”
“Whatever the girls are saying, I don’t care, but yeah, he did make a good speech, although a bit exaggerated.”
“I guess he’s fine, but he better work hard!”
“I mean, do we even have the right to say those things about him? He’s an S Rank Hunter and has always been there to take down Dungeons and such.”
“Yeah.”
The people seemed to be rapidly changing their perspective, at least the Golden Shield Guild members and the various journalists and news reporters who suddenly arrived here uninvited.
This news was, naturally, transmitted on national TV at this point, so everyone knows this, which is both a good and a bad thing. A weakness such as being pregnant will be easily exploited by enemies.
So, in these times, we have to be close to Henrietta and look after her as much as possible. I’ll definitely do just that, leaving an Ego with her whenever we are outside the city, such as in the coming days.
“Well, that was an incredible speech to witness,” Baihe said. “I’m surprised by your brother, Anna. He truly has changed for the better.”
“Right?” I giggled as we watched my brother acting all shy in front of everyone, shocked over his popularity.
As everyone talked and more conversations surged from this whole thing, I noticed some people watching from afar, whom I recognized instantly.
“Oh, look who’s here!”
I walked toward them, Baihe following me, and once Kevin noticed we were walking to meet someone, he quickly followed as well.
“Anna! Hi! It’s been a few days.”
“I see that a lot has happened so far! I’m really happy about the good news! Hahaha!”
“Jack... I can’t believe it... I lost? No, it feels like I was never even considered.”
It was Annabelle, the chairman, and Scarlet, who looked very gloomy and heartbroken.
I totally understand how she feels, but in the end, my brother ended up going for the Henrietta route.
However, she did have some chances. I mean, if it wasn’t for Henrietta being there to begin with.
Hm, well, there’s another Jack out there.
A Void Ruler at that, but.
Maybe she could have a chance with my brother from the original novel?
He’s lonely, after all, and Henrietta doesn’t exist anymore in the reality he came from, but.
No, wait, why am I even considering this?
[The {Seamless Abyss} suddenly blinks.]
Ahh! Did he hear my thoughts?!
I’m sorry, brother. I didn’t mean to say you should be with Scarlet. I know you’re a big Void Ruler now, so just forget what I thought!
Also, please don’t peek at my thoughts!
[The {Seamless Abyss} seems to be watching in silence.]
Nothing, huh? I guess he’s really a Void Ruler, even when we talked and all.
Perhaps this is part of his whole shtick.
[Star Stream Chat Warning: Void Rulers prefer not to actively participate in the chat, as they can alter reality and negatively affect those who listen to their words. Therefore, they often restrict themselves to communicating without “talking” or without showing “intent”.]
Wait, what?

Loki
Anna is 100% a idol! A Idol with a Rock band specifically! Also I can't believe Jack is literally like shinra(Fire Force) except his nervous face is just him becoming expressionless and lastly can't believe Anna is doing matchmaking for her void ruler brother 😂🤣

Then fuse some of the material from the mighty morphing zord titan she defeated to create zords for her self

Is it possible to have Anna use her specialty skill on an ego like Sepa.
