In front of my eyes, after witnessing my Class evolve from “Nephilim” to something called “Celestial Gestalt,” I saw what my Subclass had become.
The previous “Cambion” Subclass had transformed into something utterly shocking.
[Your Subclass has Ranked Up from [Cambion: ★] to [Heavenly Demon: ★★★]!]
“…”
For a moment, as I read that message, I fell silent.
I glanced around, my eyes settling on the ceiling.
Then I sank back onto my bed, still in silence.
Thinking.
I don’t know why, but I hesitated to read the Subclass description…
But I had to.
I felt something within me deeply connected to some sort of legacy.
I couldn’t believe it when I saw it.
It was as if he were there, patting my shoulders, smiling proudly.
“Is this what you wanted…?”
I wondered, truly wondered…
Is this what my master wanted?
This Class, its name—it’s literally his title.
And I happened to obtain it after he died fighting valiantly to protect this world.
This cannot be a coincidence, especially since I was his apprentice.
Is his soul somewhere here? Has he somehow influenced the System with his stubborn spirit?
Is this… his final gift to me?
To be recognized as the next Heavenly Demon…
-----
[Heavenly Demon: ★★★]
As the apprentice of the Murim World of Bestia’s Heavenly Demon, upon his passing, it is time for you to take up the mantle of the Heavenly Demon.
Han Zhenye was a man who endured countless hardships. His life was one of pain and suffering from early childhood, persecuted due to his bloodline and the sins of his ancestors. He was punished by the world and society for things he never did.
He sank into deeper despair than anyone in the world of Bestia ever had, yet he walked through that despair. He forged his suffering into strength, his pain into fortitude, and his despair into a guiding light as he navigated an unruly world of unruly people.
In his efforts to fight back and change the way the world and society operated, Han Zhenye brought endless destruction and despair to the masses and the elite. With each step, the world trembled in fear. Eventually, as he terrorized millions, he became known as the “Heavenly Demon,” an unparalleled, invincible Demonic Cultivator.
However, at the end of his journey, Han Zhenye changed. With a family he loved and who loved him back, he began to realize how much he truly cherished this world, despite once despising it.
For despite the suffering this world brought him, it also gifted him happiness—the love and joy that propelled him, for a moment, to the pinnacle of this world.
With his passing, his legacy is now yours. His {Records} have been assimilated into this Subclass and are now in your possession, creating this unique, never-before-seen Subclass.
Now that you carry his legacy through this Subclass, you must honor him. Carry his spirit and heart with you—his endless perseverance, his indestructible conviction, and his desire to change the world and fight back against those who think they can control it as they please.
You have become a revolutionary, both feared and admired by the masses.
You are the Heavenly Demon.

-----
[Your HP, KI, STR, VIT, DEX, and AGI Stats have increased by +25,000!]
[You acquired the [Heavenly Demon’s Guidance (S Rank Privilege)]!]
[You learned the [Seven Demonic Cursed Seals Domain (SSS): Lv1] Innate Skill!]
[You acquired the [Disciple of the Heavenly Demon of Bestia] Title!]
It’s really from him…
The long description recounting his life and all the effects—this Subclass was crafted exclusively for me to continue the teachings he imparted.
“I see…”
I tried not to cry again, but a tear slipped from one eye anyway.
I understand now. This is his final wish, isn’t it?
“So you want me to keep studying and training diligently, even in another world, right, Master?”
As I felt my Dark Aura growing stronger, the seven seals responded, their power continuing to evolve.
Myriad Self Arts might help me combine many things, but I’m not about to abandon these techniques either.
FLUOSH!
“Ah…”
And then, as I spoke to myself, my aura took form—an ego…
An ego of him.
Made of darkness, with two glowing crimson eyes and large black feathered wings.
[The Power of the [Heavenly Demon’s Guidance (S Rank Privilege)] has been activated.]
[An Ego born from the inherited {Records of the Heavenly Demon of Bestia} has been temporarily created.]
[A being born from the memories of the world and of yours.]
“It’s… your records…?”
As I cried, fully aware it wasn’t truly him, the ego gazed at me in silence.
“Will you guide me even in the afterlife, Father?”
He extended his hand toward me, then enveloped me in a hug.
And slowly, he faded away.
“…”
I stood up quickly, furrowing my brow.
I thought I’d lost all my motivation after everything that happened.
But this… it changes everything.
If he truly went ahead and entrusted me with his records, his entire inheritance…
I can’t disappoint him.
“Okay, I won’t cry anymore… I’ll be strong, for you.”
As I sighed, I glanced at my status one last time.
Finally, this Trial was over, and my god, so many things have happened.
It felt as if I’d lived an entire lifetime here. These last few months seemed like years.
Alright, it’s going to be huge…

Aha, there it is…
Damn, that’s a lot of stats, skills, and privileges.
And everything else. Yep, it’s a lot of everything.
To think my status started so small and weak back then but now look at this.
I’ve truly built myself into a proper… uh, warrior, I guess?
Well, I originally just wanted to be a strong Hunter, to take care of Gates myself and lessen my brother’s burden.
But after everything I’ve gone through, it feels like I’ve become something else entirely.
I’m sure my brother is still incredibly strong. He ate half of Uroboros, after all, and he already had Fenrir and his own System…
If anything, maybe I’m finally catching up to him.
I don’t want to say I’m stronger than him, though. I need to see how powerful he is right now, after his most recent power-ups.
[“Well, looks like you’ve become really strong while I was taking a nap, eh, brat?”]
