Abd L Haleem is one of my all time favs, he's basically the Frank Sinatra of Egypt.
Recently I've been listening to old music cuz I find it kinda theraputic to me so I thought I could share with you one of my fav songs. I remember listening to this on my toy cassette player when I was 8 xD
the literal translation of the lyrics is weird but it roughly means this:
Toba = slang for I swear to God
I swear to God I'll never love you again
but meet me one last time and it'll be my final breakdown
and after that I swear to God I'll never love you
I swear to God I'll never make up with you after we fight
cuz I drank the pain of the distance and closeness
& if your ghost visits me in my dream to wake me up
