Really interesting little fun fact 🤔 I don't think we have any brand in my country that could be misunderstood as sexist. Anyway, how languages may or may not be affected by social-cultural changes and globalization is very intriguing to me. For example, there are more non-native people using english in the world than native people and that is causing some of the grammar rules in the language to be bent or ignored and slowly that is becoming thr standard english. Really facinating stuff

over here, we had black licorice that were shaped like golliwogs, which was a very racist portrayal of black people and the golliwog dolls are actually illegal where I come from, if you have one then you could serve a sentence of 7-10 days in prison, or something like that.

I don't know of any racist candies here in the UK but we do have Yorkie bars, which has been seen as sexist for it's 'Not For Girls' slogan. Basically Yorkie is a bar of big 'masculine' chunks of chocolate so it's not for girls. It was all just a silly joke but courted a bit of controversy.
