“We did. “Well then!” Dorothia clapped her hands together. “All’s well that ends well!”
“Dorothia…” Nornan growled. “Did you know the potion was going to do that?”
“Oh dearie. Let’s just have some biscuits and tea and we can tell me all about your next mission,” She said.
“Dorothia,” Nornan scolded. “You did! Why’d you do that!?”
The small gnome’s eyes were locked to the floor. She twiddled her thumbs and tried to think about what to say. “It’s just I thought it’d be okay…”
“We just needed a strength potion…” Nornan said. He felt his hand go to his face as he felt a little bad for yelling. “I’m sorry, but you need to fix this.”
“Fix this? But--”
“No buts! You can’t just go and give people potions that they don’t want! I mean like come on! I had no idea this was going to happen and you’re going to fix it!” Nornan’s arms flailed as he shouted. His anger had been pent up since the end of the mission and every time he saw Corobin was another reminder that his friend had lied to him.
“Alright sweetie…” She said. Dorothia wasn’t one who stood for being yelled at like that, however she partially understood the hman’s anger. However, looking at Corobin, she wasn’t so sure he felt the same. “But does Corobin want to change?”
“OF COURSE HE DOES!” Nornan stomped his foot. “You can’t go changing people without their permission!”
However, that wasn’t the expression on Corobin’s face. He looked confused more than anything. “Okay sweetie,” Dorothia tried to calm him down again. “I know. I’ll make something to make the both of you happy. Alright?” Nornan’s anger started to simmer. “But it’s going to take a little while. Why don’t you go to the spa in the mountain? Just give them this and they’ll let you in. Okay?”
“You’ll turn him back?” Nornan asked.
“I’ll start making the potion right now,” she said.
Nornan held his glare for a few moments. “Okay,” he finally gave in. Dorothia had been his friend long enough for him to trust her. “We’ll go to the spa. C’mon Corobin. Let’s go to the spa.”
It wasn’t a far walk to get to the mountain. And climbing it would have been far harder for Nornan if he didn’t have Corobin’s strong body to pick him up and carry him. If you didn’t climb, it would have been another three or four hours to follow the trail around the mountain to the higher elevation. “Yeah… At least it will be. She just needed to fix a potion that she messed up…” Nornan said.

Corobin followed and felt the cover of the steam. “Why did Nornan yell at Dorothia?” he asked.

Corobin was confused again. “Does Nornan not like Corobin like this?”

“Nornan didn’t answer Corobin’s question. Nornan is hiding something.”
“Hiding?! What could I be hiding?”
