“I don’t know. Have you given me what I want yet?” Nick pulled his massive body between Alex and the locker’s behind him. He’d followed the football player into the locker room and was still trying to reach for his phone. But the closer Nick got, the harder it seemed to get.
Alex felt his mind get distracted again. The mere inches apart from his boyfriend were making it hard for him to think about anything else. “Break it up you two,” Jeff said over the clipboard. “Coach is going to be pissed if he finds you doing something like that before a game.” He’d just recently graduated and came back to help out. Jeff turned to Alex. “And you, you’re not supposed to be down here right now,” he shoved at Alex. “Go on. Go sit in the stands like everyone else.”

“No buts,” Jeff said. He pushed at Alex again, leading him outside.
All the while Nick was laughing to himself. “No butts,” he mocked as Alex was escorted out of the locker room. The mean glare Alex was throwing at him just made it all the funnier.
“Please can I at least get my phone from Nick?” Alex asked.
Jeff rolled his eyes. “Look man, I’m just trying to get the game to go off without any problems. Coach is in the office getting ready and I’ve got to make sure these dumbasses actually get ready.” But Alex didn’t leave. “I’ll see what I can do…”
“Thank you!”
“Sure. Whatever.” Jeff turned back into the locker room. He paused as he entered the room again. Suddenly everything felt so different but he knew it was the same.
“Woah there big guy,” Brandon smiled as he dodged around Jeff. “Try to pick a side.”
“Huh?” Jeff looked around seeing Brandon. Was he part of the football team? He sure was big enough. Looking at the clipboard he found the name right away. Brandon Watts: 6’6” 280 pounds. “Right…” Jeff rubbed his head trying to get a hold of himself. The numbers looked right and he didn't know why he would have changed them.
He walked deeper into the locker room and looked around. Everyone just seemed to be so much bigger. ‘What’s wrong with me?’ he questioned as he looked up at everyone. Never in his life had Jeff really felt this small. Sure, there were a lot of guys on the team bigger than him, but at 6’1” and a fading 240 pounds, he shouldn’t be that much smaller than them. Just because he let his abs go a bit didn’t mean he was ‘small’.
But then he passed Marco and Steven who were being a bit more than chatty. Their bodies were rubbing right up against each other and being far more handsy than Jeff thought was normal. Jeff did his best to ignore it, continuing his way towards Nick. But it was like that with all the guys. Their large inflated muscles just seemed even bigger than normal. “Something wrong?” Nick asked. His calm cool head seemed to have enough to make Jeff relax.

Finally he got to the Coach’s door. He knocked. “Come in,” Coach Ward called for him.
Jeff stepped inside the office and felt an air of normalcy wash over him. Seeing the coach’s hefty ball gut poking far out in front of him was oddly comforting. “Uhh… Sir? I was just wondering if you’d noticed anything weird going on today?”
“Weird?”
Jeff started to get uncomfortable again at the idea. He wasn’t sure what was weird so he didn’t exactly have an answer for coach either. “I don’t know,” he laughed, trying to ease the tension. “Probably just all in my head.” Jeff reached for the door again but felt that strange feeling wash over him again.
“Hold on,” Coach Wade’s gravelly voice seemed to hold him still. No matter how much Jeff tried to move his hand even the mere inches to open the door, it wouldn’t listen. He turned back to coach and knew where that strange feeling was coming from.
“Something wrong?” Jeff was still trying to move his hand but couldn’t seem to do it. He stared at coach almost feeling like he could see something happening. Coach’s rounded face started to stretch and lean out. His features grew more sharp and jagged. The scruff he’d forgotten to shave off this morning turned into a full beard that looked trimmed to accentuate his masculine features.
“Wrong? I wouldn’t say wrong…” he stood up from behind his desk. Far taller than he had been just moments before. Jeff felt his neck bend back to still be able to look the other man in the eyes again. But they quickly drifted down. The large inflated belly that coach had been raising for the last 15 years was rapidly pulling itself back into him. But that weight wasn’t disappearing. Instead it went to the rest of his body.

“Right…” Jeff replied. He’d known he’d spent several weeks alone with Marco but tutoring didn’t seem to be the thing they did.
